Good g1000 SA
Great app to practice! This keeps me familiar with procedures and using the nav portion. As a stand alone I can practice my flight mentally the day before. Connected to Xplane I then fly the same approach hands on. If you are looking for a tool to get familiar with g1000, this is it! I wish the bezels were a bit easier on the wallet. About $400 would be a great price point., good work!Show lessdiaster

Immensely Useful, Developer is Responsive
This app is great. Having flown with the G1000 in a Cessna 172, I can say that this app (both the PFD and MFD versions) closely mimic the real thing. You can pair it with X-plane over a network. It has at time been glitchy, but it’s good to see that some of those bugs are getting worked out. I wish that flight plans were saved, so that if the app crashed, or you had to pair the MFD with the PFD, your flight plan wouldn’t get wiped out. But with that being said, I did email the developer about an issue and got a response back within a day. Seemed like they really wanted to help. All things considered, this is an essential app. I use it regularly. It helped me prepare for my instrument checkride. Most (not all) of the functionality is the same as a real G1000. Even with what it lacks though, it’s far better than the G1000 in X-plane (which is next to worthless).Show lessJaredC55555
Will not connect via bridge to xplane
It's the only reason I bought it, so a total waste of $10. I'll be attempting a refund.PK tester

Best tool around but has limitation
The knobs are difficult to use. Someone needs to market an affordable bezel with real buttons and knobs that would take advantage of the software and fix the physical limitations of the app.scottc7187
Kind of limited

Worthless unless you buy the $700 bezel
Wow. Just wasted $10. The app does not include any g1000 controls. That's what you need to learn to fly a g1000. So, you want to enter a flight plan? Sorry, go buy the S700 bezel.SRM14
PFD MFD
I like the PFD even though it's limited. I purchased the MFD and the PFD for my I PAD and can't use the MFD. MFD purchase is a real waste of money.Flyn55
