Hmmm

This is a great idea for an app and is quite well executed.
However, several of the 'revision notes' made me raise an eyebrow. It's probably because it's aimed at school-children, but everything is Very black-and-white....

For instance - various insulators are mentioned that "will not conduct electricity" - and some won't conduct "by batteries alone". Breakdown voltage, whether it's AC or DC, isn't mentioned. Virtually anything will conduct once the voltage is high enough.

On transformers:
"You only get a voltage in the second coil if the magnetic field is changing." You will get an induced voltage pulse, it just won't be very useful.
"Transformers will only work with AC". Someone had better explain that to my cars ignition coil.

I could go through other points that are stated as absolute fact - which, unfortunately, aren't true under all circumstances - but I won't.

Suffice to say that this is a reasonable, but flawed, app.

This may or may not be a good resource to help school-children pass their exams. But, I certainly wouldn't use it as a reference to argue a point with someone who knows their onions.
