Won’t let me log in
I used to use this to check my grades and I never had a problem with it. But recently, it has been stuck on the “Verifying...” screen forever after I put my password in. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it just to find out that it won’t let me search for my School District. Anytime I start typing I see a pop up that says “Please check to ensure you have a Wi-Fi or other data connection and try again. I have turned my WiFi on and off and even tried using my data but it still didn’t work. Therefore I believe that this is a problem with your services, especially since I have seen this problem in other reviews from as far back as October. Listen to the reviews and fix this.

Could be a great app
I had a iPhone 6s and it worked okay so I could check my son’s grades. I upgraded my phone to a XR and it won’t let me sign in. Says my credentials don’t match. I’m on the go so much and I liked being able to check grades before my son leaves school for the day. If needed I could have him check with a teacher or make sure he doesn’t forget homework etc. not being able to log on is very frustrating and disappointing.

Very buggy
Half the time it does not recognize my face ID while I have no issues with this on other apps. Sometimes it does not recognize my passcode. Other times it tells me I have invalid credentials even though my login info is current and I haven’t changed anything. The push notifications are only temporary and do not show up other than the single time they originally are displayed; when you go to look at the app later it does not show you the new info and you can’t go back later to find what it was because it does not save them in the notification screen. I receive push notifications about administrative messages and it displays the same messages that were there before. This would be a good app if not for all the bugs.

App not working
I use this for app to monitor two children. New problem this school year is that you no longer can click on the teachers for each class and get their email link. That was so useful before. I’m really bummed that no longer works. Also for my second child’s page only, you cannot click on the individual class and see individual assignments. The only way I can see assignments is if I choose “custom grade display”. This is very annoying and not user friendly.

Locked out
The app refuses to let me see my own grades. I tried to check them in this app for the first time in months, and automatically, after entering the CORRECT password (it works well on the computer version), it said I couldn’t access my account because it has exceeded the max number of login attempts. Let me be clear, I did previously forget my password, but I haven’t tried the app in 6 MONTHS. That shouldn’t be a problem. I tried to my parent’s login instead hoping that it would work, but alas, I was presented with a different problem. I put in the password I was told, the one that it had been changed to 1 week ago, and was denied access. I tried it a few more times in all possible capitalizations and spellings, and was denied access. I put in the older password, and was denied access. I tried a few more different passwords, and was denied access. Meanwhile, I can login just fine on the computer version. PLEASE fix this issue. It defeats the purpose and convenience of an app.

Nice app compared with website. Very fast
Doesn't show missing assignments!!
Either I'm blind or it's not on my phone or something but I have to go to google just to see my missing assignments. I got this mobile skyward so I can checked my grades and other stuff faster than you could on the web. I don't like the website one on the phone because the picture is too small and usually doesn't even work and this app works fine except I can't seem to find my missing assignments. I know I have a few so there's no reason it's not on there. If there could be an update strictly for this, not the design, it would be a great help and would be very useful. I would give a way better review if it just had your missing assignments listed.

Awful Update
I loved this app because it allowed me to check my grades whenever I needed to. They were all in this nice small chart that fitted on a single page. it was all very accessible and nicely laid out. Now you have to change settings to go and see all of your grades, which are very large and you can't see all of them at once. You have to swipe to multiple pages in order to see them all, which in itself is horrid. It is not smooth in the slightest and runs terribly. I used to use the app to check my grades every day, but I don't know what I am going to do now because it is so awkward going through the app now and it's clunky and terrible. The old version was fine, you had no reason to change it other than some bug fixes perhaps, but changing the entire layout to something hard and laggy to use was a mistake. My friends and I were in a group chat complaining about how horrible the update was, and I agree with every point they made. If you care at all about the people using this app, please change it back to the way it was.

Pointless
This app serves as a decent shortcut to the mobile desktop site. I can see no other benefits to using the app itself. Functionality is greatly reduced, and navigation is confusing. It's almost like they hired some sort of government agency to design it.
Suggestions: Full calendar view like the website as as opposed to searching and clicking for each individual day. Ability to click on grades in the grade book to view quiz grades, etc. as opposed to clicking through three extra menus. Move the accounts/logout button away from where the "back" button is on every other web browser and app in the world to save inevitably having to start over two or three times a session.
