Rain notification
I bought this app so it would give me a notification of impending rain. There is no notification - such as a notification push with an audible sound. If you buy this app, please realize that you will have to look at your phone to see when the rain is going to start.. I was hoping it was like dark sky that would notify you audibly of upcoming rainstorms. other than that it’s an OK app but I would not have paid five bucks for it if I knew it had no notification

Very Accurate
I’ve had Rain Aware for a few years now and I rely on it when I want minute to minute forecasts for when I want to run out on an errand or mow the lawn, etc. I can see, for example, that I have “x” amount of minutes to do this or that. It’s pretty much right on.
Accurate
I find this app to be extremely clear to use, and in my case, extremely accurate. I can’t think of something additional to add to the app, but if something ingenious came up, I would definitely pay an extra amount for pro features.
Just okay servers are always down
When the app works it is great but it does not always work. More times than enough I receive a Server SSL certificate error 1202 when I go to use it. If I do t get that error it’s a message that the servers are down. When I first started using the app about 4-5 years ago it was great over time errors messages are received. These messages occur when the app is needed because the forecast is rain. Not sure what has happened but it is not as reliable. There are times I check local news and the radar shows storms and the app is clear. Development team get your act together.

RainAware
A superb app for the most current inclement weather information and it's accurate prediction time for rainfall. The radar section is my favorite. I used this app in Hawaii for years, I'm pleased to advise its accuracy is phenomenal. I'm using it now on the mainland, it's still awesome. Thank you for continuing to improve your app!!!

This is one awesome app! I use it all the time. It is by far the most accurate weather predictor with updates as situation changes. Worth every penny ($5.00)saz
Worked perfectly for years until today.
My main screen says “JSON could not be serialized because of error: The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format. [47” and that’s it. I’ve tried restarting the up-to-date iPhone. Until now, I’ve LOVED this App!
Used to be so much more accurate
What happened? Are you or two ago I could use this time the rain almost to the minute. Now every five minutes the forecast changes. Literally just before writing this review it said it’s going to storm for three hours. 30 seconds before that it was only gonna storm for 15 minutes. Five minutes ago it said two hours. I don’t know what’s wrong but this app is now useless.

So accurate it’s freakin Scary
I live in the Bay Area and rarely get to ever see precipitation, but on the handful of days per year it does rain I’m all over this app. I’ve put it to the test and it’s correct within seconds of when rain will start and stop. I also learned that Major League Baseball umpires use RainAware to determine rain delays and whether to stop play or when to restart. It’s hella good!!

Not today it poured you missed that app?!
I was extremely disappointed in the app today and it was dark the sky was for me it was building up warm weather every sign was pointing to the fact it was gonna rain I checked the app multiple times wasn’t even the slightest chance of rain in the forecast and in Minneapolis it poured thunder lightning for hours?
I hate to give you a bad review but you should have a way on the app for us to contact you so you can update things.
