  • Don't Bother . . .

OK, so I loaded this app version 1.6.4.1 on my iPad, and it seems to work good. Then, my wife wanted it on her iPad. So from the app store I loaded version 1.6.4.2 for $1.99. This newer version did not have the SuperRes radar display feature.
It did not show the local storms here in Florida that my other radar apps showed. I wrote their support an email, and after 4 days, no response. So don't waste your time or money getting this app. No support, no accurate radar - what's the point?

  • Great App!

This app is an excellent one for displaying radar images and current temperatures. What it doesn’t show - to my knowledge - is future temperatures and rain forecasts. Everything else is shown on a current basis, only, which is done very well.
  • Glitchy

As this weather app kept asking me for a review every time I opened it, here it is, though I doubt Apple will publish it; negative reviews for this app, mysteriously, are well-buried.

I’ve had this app for years, but didn’t use it because it wasn’t as good as my favorite one, the popular Hi-Def US Radar app that had an epic meltdown last year.

This app has also had a meltdown as far as I’m concerned, and am removing it. Though it has a number of features I liked, they don’t work anymore. The “water vapor” radar images are split and shifting when opened, and more annoying is that the current weather radar images don’t move when the map is moved (zoom in or out, the storm images remain over whichever area you’re focusing on). The app seems to be experiencing the same glitches and issues my former favorite weather app did when it was being abandoned by its developers. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a replacement for this, and what I look for is one that has frequent updates which indicate an effort by developers to maintain function and relevancy for users. Obviously (see the updates for this one) this app doesn’t meet that standard.
NOTE: Trying to get app support is a joke. The developers refer you to Apple to “fix” your device. It’s not the device that needs fixing, it’s the app. Or you can uninstall/reinstall: doesn’t work. Or you can contact them: email them and get no response. Or just delete the app and find one from another developer. Check.

  • Great weather radar app

Living in South West Florida and spending a considerable amount of time on the water in a smaller boat not equipped with on board radar, I find this app to be extremely valuable. It shows me in near real time exactly where the storm cells are and which direction the are heading.

    It serves my needs perfectly.

  • Great weather app.

ThIs does about everything I'd ever want in the way of showing the progress of storm cells as they approach. I always check this app before I go out for the morning walk. Recent additions include cloud cover and water vapor maps, as well as other levels of radar coverage. Keep up the good work!
  • Its ok, needs more work

Bought this to replace what was previously a great app - hi def radar, which I had to delete after developer removed all the useful features in a forced update, then demanded a paid subscription to get them back.
This one is ok and the color is decent in "super Res radar mode" but the storm tracks are too big and cumbersome to see and it doesn't have as many nice features as the other app used to - such as color coded warning boxes, weather at location etc.
Hopeful this developer is at least not dishonest like the other one and works on the app over time.

  • Radar US Very good weather app.

I'm finding this app to be very useful. Tapping the title at the bottom center of the screen gives a long list of information. The total precipitation menu item doesn't seem to be very accurate. Shows I have had no rain when it has rained for at least an hour. I would like it to show lightening strikes. Over all I find it very useful and look forward to updates. Hope it doesn't change to a subscription app. My last weather app did that after an update.

  • I love it.

I am update my review from four years ago. To put it simply, I really liked it then. Now four years later, I love it. I will not go so far as to say that it has saved my life, but it is certainly has saved me from some dangerous situations, especially when planning travel over water such as the 26 mile bridge over Lake Ponchartrain. I use it for fishing inshore/nearshore as well along the coast. Great app. Highly recommend customizing the settings to your liking.

  • Dependable App Must Have App

I've had this app several years over several phones even. It just keeps getting better and is always Dependable in every storm, it's a Must Have App. Thank you. There are others out there that look the same but don't compare! Thank you.
  • Dependable!

This is the only radar I use. I have lived through two tornadoes and am now a paranoid weather watcher. I use this app ALL the time. I especially like the fact that it loads quickly and gives the ability to zoom in all the way to my street. We have had terrible weather in the past two years and I open this app frequently during the middle of the night so I know if we need to take cover or not. Thanks!
