Light excellent radar app
Loved this for years because it will load and run when I’m on the water or in rural areas with weak cell signal. Other weather apps have more bells and whistles but when storms bubble up and you need quick reliable radar this is your best friend. Wonderfully lightweight at 5.2MB. Also shows TS and hurricane tracks, flash flood and storm/tornado watch/warnings.Show lesslovelylistener007
No Frills, Accurate, Super Res and Free!
I have used this great Weather Radar app for 12+ years on two different iPads (3rd generation and currently 5th). Obviously, I find it essential! The format is simple and just what you need to view instant and accurate high definition radar. If you want to see severe thunderstorm or tornado or flood warning NWS alerts, just turn on in the settings. Invaluable app especially if you live in or are traveling in an area where these tend to frequently occur. Instant current weather conditions and forecast with just a tap for any location in the USA. Love this app…living in Southern Cal we get rain activity seldom and from different directions. Using this app I can see where the cells are and if they will pass my location and when. Love it!Pooh Party
Needs Updating
Over 2 years since the last update, and it’s still my go-to for the best radar. Unfortunately, it’s showing its age as being designed for older devices. Not improving the UI in all that time makes me fear that it’s an abandoned app, and there’s a tiling issue with the radar at some scale levels.snowidog

I have relied on this app for many years, especially during the storm seasons in North Texas. I appreciate the color renderings depicting storm intensity and direction … I appreciate the pink shadings for hail cores. Great App!
Have been using this for years. Accurate and useful, especially for storms. Easy to use and a lot of good options in the settings. I like to zoom the map in and out to pinpoint my immediate area and then see the track of a storm across many states.Moon B
You literally know when the rain is coming
Where I live in the Pacific Northwest, a day has multiple periods of rain followed by sun. I use this app to plan outdoor activity in the sunny periods. Never fails. Always accurate.mpuckette

Used this application for at least 5 years. This was very helpful for planning kayaking and camping trips. I never felt the application is wrong. When it tells the rain will cover you - it will definitely happen. Be safe guys!Alex Timchenko
Best Weather Radar
Iv tried a couple of other weather radar apps and this is the best by far in my opinion. It sets up and resets quickly and will give both static and dynamic radar for anywhere in the U.S. it doesn’t work out of the country, presumably due to lack of access to data. Get this one!SimpsonIII
Accurate Enough for Aviation
This is by far and away the best weather radar app available. Simple to use. Streamlined GUI. Ultra-High resolution radar. Others advertise “high-res” radar, but, this app is totally different.... it TRULY IS HIGH RESOLUTION! Simply amazing. Lastly, because there are no nuisance ads, and the GUI is clean, fast and uncluttered - it is just as useful up in the air as it is on the ground!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP.Show lessJLSRR
