so near perfect... almost
this has every feature i want. i love that you can enter events so easily. the to do list and notes on the same page are brilliant. and visually--its a dream: so clear to read. that said, theres one recurring problem. no matter how many times i check which calendars i do and do not want showing up, it ignores my choices, even if the calendar isnt "on." so i get constant notifications from a calendar that i do not want. i have access to this calendar elsewhere and dont need to see it here at all. no other calendar app does this. i did troubleshooting on the iphone and in google calendar, still no fix. i wouldnt have written this in the review, except i could not find any contact info. hope this gets fixed. please! thanks.

A solid improvement.
This fix makes it usable. I now look forward to putting it through its paces as I try to incorporate it into my daily routine.
Kudos to the developers. When alerted to the fact that the previous update meant that calendar data would not stick, they were very responsive and pushed out this fix in a timely manner.
I do wish we could re-size the font (Pinch-to-Zoom?) for readability.
While PP may not be the "killer app", it works as advertised. Its clean simplicity might be neutralized if too many other features are piled on.
Thanks.

Greatest app out
This is exactly what I have been looking for. This has replaced the calendar app on my iPod touch. I have tries many apps and they have all fallen short. This one shows my calendar, google calendars, and Facebook events (from google and other apps on my iPod) clearly and in great views like day, week, and monthly views. Far superior to the calendar app and most of the downloadable calendar apps out there. I highly recommend this app.

Simple & Reliable
I have had this app for awhile & with no problems. It has never crashed on me. I have used it on ipod touch 4 & 5.
The interface is attractive, much like the old paper scheduler that I used to lug around--we are indeed spoiled with technology!
I like that this app is simple to use. It has a scheduler/calender, to-do, & notes. No overly-optimized-mechanized bloat here!
A few things that would make this app 5 stars:
Please update for iPhone/iPod-touch 5!!!
Please add sounds that are soothing for completed to-dos (ex. wind chimes, harp, crickets, ocean.) The boo-yeah & video game noises are cool, but I prefer to celebrate my accomplishments with a note of relaxation. How about a gentle whisper boooo-yeeaah.
Syncing between devices would also be nice.

Pretty good but crashes
I love the layout of this app , it has some great features that a regular calendar doesn't . The only problem is that it randomly crashed if you schedule something and then you schedule another thing right after it.
Not a bad option- missing features
I like that this planner integrates notes, calendars, and tasks. I've been searching for an app to do that. However, these features are not fully developed. I can't schedule a task for another day, for example. So things I need done today show up below longer-term projects with no way to change the order of the tasks... The same with notes. For those of us who like to plan ahead, that's a bummer.

Crashes
Looks awesome on the reviews BUT crashes on start up.
I have iTouch 4g.
I have iTouch 4g.
Gone in 60 seconds
Video review looks great but just scrolling up my calendar for one day it crashes.
I want to like it, but it could use work.
I have used Parker Planners for a while now and decided getting the app would save me some pocket space. It's pretty much a paper version, but on your phone. At first I loved it, but I miss being able to circle things in my day or add different color items. Other than that it used to be good, but now I can't open it without it crashing, it would be a good free app, but not now that it crashes its not worth the $.99, I could get a free app that does the same thing and doesn't crash.

Need more versatility
I am a school teacher trying to keep track of a complicated, overlapping schedule. I teach 2 different grades of special education students. These students spend time with their regular education peers. I need to be able to have several events during the same time slots and some overlapping. I need some events to last from 5-15 minutes. The program seems to allow this but the seems to be a glitch because after allowing me to program a time and seeming to save it, when I go back to look at it the times are changed back to the whole hour. For example, I can't get recess to stay from 1:30-1:45 with alarms to help me remind me, it reverts to 1-2. Nor can I schedule lunch times for both grades 11:30-12:05 and 11:45-12:20. Can either of these issues be fixed?
No orientation view is also inconvenient, is one in the works?
I like the todos and the note feature but I got frustrated having to input the times over and over again only to have them lost.
Program has potential, let me know when there is an update. I'd be willing to give it another try.
