Excellent App, but...
I agree with the previous reviewer, however I would be happy to pay a few dollars for an ad-free version. I refuse to use apps with ads in them, so looking elsewhere...

I get the message to click on an ad every time I open it. Pitch pipe doesn't work at all! No sound. Delete
Mine stopped making any sound.
But I still get fresh ads. Weee! Time to delete and find an alternative.

Simple but useful
This app is useful for anyone who, for whatever reason, needs to find the pitch of a note when there's no musical instrument at hand. Would be especially useful for vocalists to find the right note to start singing, or anyone to find out what key a piece is in.
Any note of the chromatic scale can be chosen, corresponding to all the white and black keys of a piano. So it's more versatile than a simple tuning fork which only gives one note.
I love the simplicity of this app but have two suggestions for improvement. Firstly, I find that the notes continue sounding for too long without being able to attenuate the sound once it is struck, like a piano with the sustain pedal on. This results in quite a jumble of sound if playing several notes in succession. I think it would be greatly improved by giving each note a short duration.
Secondly, the option for a different tone, perhaps like an organ or a flute rather than a piano, would make it more appealing for me.

Lacks information and although it seems quite easy to use the notes aren't even able to be heard

A single octave might be good enough for a regular pitch pipe, but an iPhone app? Not worth downloading.
Deleted it
"Click an advert to not see this for seven days" pops up every time you open it and you have to hit OK to get past it. It's not THAT good to put up with that nonsense!
