Off-label use in meetings and lectures to avoid disruptive alarm sounds
Great app. I use the green alarm needle as an end-of-meeting marker that is easy to view without distracting other meeting members. For example, if the meeting is supposed to ends at 2:45 pm I set the green needle to the 9 position on the dial. I can then with just a glance easily judge how close the current time is to the scheduled meeting end. I do not want an alarm to sound at the meeting end time, as this is disruptive and frankly rude. I can gently and politely announce the meeting end when the minute hand meets the green needle marker.
I also use each alarm in an analogous fashion to mark the end of my lectures. I do not want to use a sound alarm because students are prompted by the ringing to stop paying attention and start storing books and electronic tablets in their backpacks. This cause an unwelcome sudden disruption in the lecture room, where chit chat background sounds become prominent. The NN Alarm allows me to be visually aware of how close I am to the end of the lecture, allowing me to make timely final statements free if background disruptions. As I teach 3 lectures, each one ending at a different time, the availability of 3 alarms allows me to set an end-of-lecture marker for each lecture
Request for improvement: the green needle does not align perfectly with the white marks in the clock face in my iPhone XR. For example, if I try to align the needle with the rectangular tick mark corresponding to 9 on the dial, the green needle will leave either the upper or lower part of the white tick mark exposed, even if the digital alarm read out shows exactly 9:00 pm. Although this mismatch does not matter if the only objective is to get a sound to ring at exactly 9pm, it reduces the quality of the app interface and suggests an undeserved perception of lack of workmanship and lower quality standard. The visual mismatchMakes their user wonder whether the alarm has been set at 9:00, 8:59, or 9:01 pm. I hope you can fix this problem.

The app needs an update: you can’t add background pictures to the clock on iOS 14. (Using an iPad Air 2). Can you fix this please?
Great Clock App!
Definitely one of the beat clock apps to be had!
Background setting
Cannot set background. Just getting a cropping screen and the app hangs.
Tried putting it on iPad and the same problem. It just doesn’t work.

Light and practical
Good app
Phew!
What a huge relief to find an analogue alarm clock in amongst such a plethora of digital bells and whistles. I’m a tremendous fan of practically everything the digital age has to offer; I could cheerfully spend all day and night excavating the gold mine of the internet, and I cannot resist gadgets. It’s just a great pity that I’m too old to work in the computer industry!
However! I’m afraid that digital alarm clocks (or anything that tells me the time in a digital format) are simply WRONG, and no amount of money/free holidays/bribery will persuade me otherwise. I know exactly what the time is when I look at a real (analogue!) clock face, because of the shape the hands make. Show me a timepiece like this 🕒 and it shouts 3 o’clock - show me a timepiece like this “15.00” and it doesn’t even whisper 3 o’clock. It says “fifteen hundred”, and that’s a totally different time.
So thank you for providing me with a method of seeing the real shape of time.
