Brilliant database application
App syncs seamlessly between the OS X version of the programmes and the iOS version.
Definitely a useful app to have when you're wondering through the store and can't exactly remember what you've got a home.
Couple of things that might need to be revised: iPhone 6/6+ optimisation and it crashes occasionally when editing data on the go.
Other than that. A great app to have.

Fantastic!
Well an anticipated update that's taken far too long in my opinion lol. I was lucky enough to own pocketpedia 1&2 so having the option to now search whilst out and about again is brilliant.
Fantastic app and mac app's keep up the good work Bruji

**UPDATE**
Had this app a while now & the mac app! I had an issue where it wouldn't sync correctly and the support was brilliant. They sorted the problem out straight away! Cheers Bruji π
Updates 23/12/14
So a few updates later... The app is even better. Now I don't have to use imdb to add films on the computer. I can use the Bruji database directly on this app. Awesomeness. πππππ

Excellent
A great companion to DVDpedia. The data sources leave a little to be desired but that's not the developer's fault, you just need to review the descriptions as they are being added. Overall it is a very useful App for anyone with a large collection of films or even home movies.
Pocketpedia3
I use Pocketpedia on my: Mac; iPad and iPhone. Excellent software that does what it says on the tin. What I particularly like is that each book comes with a summary, and a photo, which helps remind me of the storyline, particularly useful when reading a trilogy over a long period of time. The only major improvement I would suggest is the use iCloud, or Dropbox for synching instead of the present system.

Not bad but lacking
On the plus side, Iβm happy to be able to sync with Bookpedia so I have my book list on the go to avoid buying duplicates.
On the minus side, there are some areas where the app needs work: 1. Syncing is manual rather than automatic and continuous like Appleβs apps with iCloud. 2. The menu for delete, edit, etc. is under an icon like Appleβs share icon, which is confusing. 3. There is no way to search within my own library.

More sorting options needed
I use the desktop DVDpedia app and have grown to like its versatile sorting features. So when I saw Pocketpedia I thought it would be just as versatile. Pocketpedia syncs very well with DVDpedia but you can ONLY sort by movie title and director. In my case I would love the option to sort by Collection ID or just any other field populated by the desktop app. More sorting and customization options would make it very powerful. Also add more database search options other than Doghouse. It does not seem to difficult to add that ability next update.

Rubbish

Still needs work
I really like the idea of this app but it has issues with syncing. When I add something on the iPhone or iPad and do a sync it will lose any cover art that was associated with the entry. The search via doghouse using the isbn or upc codes never finds an item but entering the name manually works many of those times. I have all of the pedia apps on the Mac and they are great and get much more information then this app can provide. They need to work on the search and sync issues to make this work the price.

How bad is this app
The scanner did not recognise any of my books, life is too short to put them in manually! Waste of time!
