  • Not like a conductor

This is not a bad metronome, but the only way it is ‘like a real conductor’ is that the visual shows a picture of a conductor’s hand and baton instead of a plain metronome arm. There are none of the usual conductor gestures to show different time signatures. Also, the way timings are entered is very odd. Instead of being able to enter ‘6/8’ you can only enter ‘3/4’ and then ‘subdivision 2’. But I do quite like the sounds. It would be better if you could chose to go full screen on the visual once you have set the times etc. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but it is OK.

  • Just a metronome

I was under the impression that the baton beat would be in the pattern for the time signature. It's not. The baton just goes back and forth.
