Brilliant. Used to create Flashcards n games to go with my child’s reading book sent home from school. Glitchy in places, so 4 stars, but mostly smooth and easy to use.
Great tools for Childs Vocabulary !
It is an awesome tool for learning, increasing vocabulary and reviewing things. The many different games for reviewing words alphabets is one of the best features of this app. Great job, developers! Keep up the good work!

Love this apps potential, but…
It’s glitchy. I don’t have to pro version, so maybe that’s why it does funny things. I would like to be able to put two pics on 1 slide. Is that possible? Moving pics around in the editor is very troublesome. The font is hard for my ESL learners to read. I can’t figure out how to change it. These things should be easy to do. There are so many good things about the app, but also so many annoying things.

Happily Returning
I taught ESL to young children for many years, retired three years ago, and just started volunteering as an adult ESL teacher. Couldn’t cope with the boring textbook. I’m back to Bitsboard and my new older students are just as happy as my first graders used to be!
High Hopes
I was very excited to use this app for homeschooling my non verbal autistic son. The variety of games that allow you to custom teach/test a block of material in different ways is fantastic. The cost to potential benefit of this app is very reasonable. After spending many hours sorting through all the classes and boards and devising a learning strategy that was producing great results, I was very disappointed to find the app crashing every time I attempted to review his stats. Without the ability to keep score and revise where needed it is pointless to continue.

Please email us at support@happymooseapps.com. This seems like a very strange and isolated bug because we have never been able to replicate a problem related to the user stats on our own test devices.

If you are educator this app gives you an idea of what you can do but you will need the pro app to create classes and at our school we shifted to the student app to remove any distractions of the catalog.

Great app to build vocabulary and discrimination skills!
Finally an app that we can share remotely AND be able to collect data! I’m a BCBA working with children with special needs. They love this app and actually prefer it to other programming. The settings allow to change sounds, the array, the pictures are a great quality and you can always add your own. The range of games allows for generalization and multiplayer functions. I highly recommend this as a way to support VB MAPP programming for LR, tact, echoics, etc. And to support any existing programming. A web-based model would be ideal for those not on iOS.

Perfect Resource for Speech & Language Therapists
The Bitsboard Pro App has absolutely transformed my therapy provision for children with phonological, language and social communication disorders. I can create boards as and when I need them, which with the Cycles Phonological Approach, is on a weekly basis. I have created boards to work on receptive and expressive language at a SV, SVO, SVOA(place) level etc., adding extra pictures every month to retain the children's interest. This app is so much cheaper, flexible and clinically effective than any set of pictures I have ever purchased. I would 100% recommend it!

Disappointed
The app is locking the topic boards that I created for my ASD daughter. I am directed to the payment page. It is usual trick, to give initial free access then ask for payment to use it. I am not interested in others boards, just wanted access to the personalised Boards which I created. I would not recommend
