Needs a lot of Improvememt
Key features such as latest news options do not show the latest news but rather articles from 1 day earlier. We know that there are newer articles available because they can be found in the top stories section of the page. Please fix this!

Horrendous update
Sure it looks fancier (when it works) but this latest update has resulted in a stupidly slow news app that pauses and jerks to load news articles, when it ran smoothly in the previous version.

Thanks for your inputs. We are constantly trying to improve the app - and invite you to download the latest version for a better experience. We have redesigned the app for ease of navigation - a single horizontal swipe lets you access Top Stories, Latest News, Most Popular and Watch (TV). At the same time, the various Sections are only a tap on the hamburger menu away. If you prefer to see more stories on screen - just tap onto the hamburger and enable the "Compact Layout" on top. Mark as read function is gone?
The contents load much faster.
However the mark as read function is not working (or gone?) and too much of white spaces thus need to scroll a lot more compared to previous UI.
Hope these can be fixed soon.

No sound
This apps seems to always have issue with sound. Latest upgrade albeit seems great, but unable to get any sound on any video clips.

After 2 news stories, CNA will start a VIDEO AD. Imagine how annoyed your colleagues & friends get with this. And it will play for a full 30s.
