Can be better

I don't write reviews for many apps but this one keeps asking so this is what I think. I have sent my observation to the suppliers with no reaction which asks the question do the read them?
This needs more work and much more thought. It has some sound ideas but the process for achieving the best results with the least amount of input have been missed its screen layout is confusing as if you have medication at two times a day as I do the evening activation is above the morning all on the same screen. The stock level section is too time consuming and could have been achieved with a lot less work if only detailed thought had been involved.

Good app

I like this app, but I wish it would let me use pictures of the Meds I already have in my picture album rather than needing to take new ones. I use this app to keep track of the meds I take and when they are due to be refilled.

Not the app I thought it was

I am looking for an app where I can put in all my Rx and when they need to be taken. Then I'll receive an alert on my phone when it's time to take a pill. This app does NOT do this. Hourly increments are not in the app. I'd like my money back.

Best out there, I have tried many and this one is the closest to the mark!

This app really helps me manage what I need. The only thing that would be helpful is a journal option so that I can track the pain at the time I take the meds. Well done and thank you!

Please expand

This App could work great if the frequency choices were closer to real life. I take some medications every 4 days and this app was a waste of money because the reminder function Does not allow me to set up reminders except for Daily,Weekly or Monthly. This app has great potential but I hope this option is fixed. Otherwise I shelled out 3 bucks for an App that I will never use again. note to Developer: Please work on the scheduling function to make multiple hourly reminders possible per day and frequency capable of manually entered days/ hours/ weeks etc...

Finally settling on this one

If you look very long for an app like this, the ones you find will generally either keep track of your medical history and only include medications as informational data, or they brush past a medical record and get down in the weeds counting pills. I think I'm going to end up using one of both types, and Track My Rx is easily the best choice that I could find for tracking meds. It's a little quirky in places, but once you get the starting data input, if it's Tuesday and you should have two pills left, you can count on the accuracy of the app. It lets you pull medications into groups - am Meds, pm Meds for example - and record having taken all those drugs with one click. You can set reminders letting you know when something is low enough that it needs attention - refill, doctor consultation, etc., and you can also set reminders on each individual medication to make sure you take it when prescribed. It doesn't include some choices in some places, for example taking account of a med you take every other day or take two of at once, but these can generally be worked around. And finally, while the "syncing" mechanism is a little clunky, it's simply an email message to yourself to download to any other device. If they could get that to be a real-time synch via iCloud (or even wifi) I'd up my rating in a heartbeat. Good job, folks!!

Not exactly what I expected

I only started using this app today and just entered my meds. I really liked the idea of taking a picture of the label but disappointed you couldn't tap on it to enlarge photo...thereby rendering the picture virtual useless. Also would like availability of a 2nd picture for the back of vitamin Ingredients.
Would be nice if you could print put info. Also a medical history within the app which also would track annual tests with reminders.
So for my use I was somewhat disappointed.

What I've been looking for!

It took a recent update for it to work properly, but have been able to track my prescriptions and vitamins and take pix of the bottles. No crashing here! I'm using an iPhone 3G . So far so good!

Notetaking...

I wote a review in Jan., but wanted to add something I did. My granddaughter's asthma/allergies drive me crazy, but this app helps me keep track of the various meds I give her and when. I have been using the Notes feature a lot recently due to her having fits of coughing at night. I actually just went in and added a new medication, but I named it Notes. This way, I can add notes between meds or about the results of dosages afterwards. I add information about how her coughing has increased, decreased, or how long it took for the meds to kick in. I really love this app. I still haven't used the email option between devices, but now I am wondering about a print option for the historical view. I need to go see bout that since that would be great to do.

Useful medication tracking app

If like me, you have to take a lot of medication, this app can be useful for you. I especially like the grouping function that allows you to record a list of pills that you might always take at the same time ( i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Bedtime ). I would like the recording of a group of pills to be shown as taken as well as the individual pills are.
I like that we can record a picture of each pill but I find it unfortunate that once the picture stored, it only appears as a small icon making it useless to identify/discern similar pills. Could you not add a zoom in function on the pill picture?
I hope these two suggestions make it in your next product upgrade. Thanks
