Latest version crashes all the time
Good app and easy to use but the latest version crashes all the time when adding tracks or albums to my list of favorites. That is to me a major regression on the product.halfteaspoon
Best Music Controller
I have tried JRemote, Audirvana+ Remote, mConnect, iPeng and linn Kazoo. LUMIN App remains my favorite. With a properly set up NAS running Minimserver this app simply cannot be beat. Single page control, play queue control options, auto font adjustment, regular updates, great support from LUMIN all contribute to unsurpassed customer experience. Absolutely the best.
LUMIN is fab! After a long search finally I've found a quick, responsive MPD application that's simple to use and easy to navigate. It finds all my album artwork (most similar systems fail badly here). I'm using it with a Raspberry Pi/HiFi Berry setup running Moode software into an Arcam D33 DAC where it finds all networked music via Minim Server on a QNAP NAS and displays my preferred internet radio stations. FINALLY streaming seems far less of a faff and something actually easily useable by the whole family.Show lessAudiofi
Crash
The app crashes from time to time, although this does not affect the playback. Please fix it.jasonlyeung
Solid app
This music controller gets right what most similar apps get wrong. It remembers your browsing place on the server when you leave and come back to the app, it keeps the queue playing when in the background, and it provides a clean but album cover rich interface.
Unfortunately a few glitches detract from the experience. Volume and track position don't work, though maybe that's to be blamed on my BubbleUPnP renderer intermediary. All tracks are reported as ALAC in the UI, even if they are actually aac or something else. Genres are not read from Plex media server, and behavior with Minim server is rather, er, funky. Amateurish
This company has on of two major issues:
1. Bad app in that it is NOT intuitive
Or
2. Bad online instructions on how to use said app
My recommendation would be that you put up detailed videos on app function especially in regards how to use tidal/streaming services.StylerB
Great app but....
Great app but whenever I add music to my library (JRiver MC) the album art always gets messed up and I have reload the entire library to get the art back in sync. It’s been this way for years and yearsJoeyWK

this is the only way to control a high end streamer and it keeps crashing and freezing and has many bugs.flyheli22
Need one button....
App needs a one-button solution to play a whole Tidal playlist without having to move each song over to the que individually. ☹️Blockhead@06320
Best control point I’ve found so far...
...works nicely with Linn Akurate and Melco (with Akurate or to USB DAC). Good with Synology DS server and MinimServer. It would be great if booklets from MinimServer could be added.Hovermark
