Great Heli Sim
Fantastic Heli simulator for iPad and iPhone. Great for learning new tricks and practicing orientations - interface (touch screen) is the only real issue but fairly fundamental e.g. fairly small area to move my thick fingers around on iPhone but iPad control area is way bigger and feels very precise, gets easier with practice.
Physics are good, and autopilot great for training.
Some requests:
- App should remember model and mode between sessions - I fly the R90 in Mode 1 and have to choose these every time I load the app.
- I always turn on smoke and idle up, can they remember defaults too?
- No control over time rate - would like to practice at half-speed to master maneuvers.

Almost an amazing game
The game is amazing to waste time and I have played it for years and years but the whole user content thing is tricky and weird I would love if it actually worked on your phone buttt sadly it doesn’t otherwise it would definitely be a five star gamehxleuyyy
Less Crash More Fun!
I’ve seen some great improvements to this app in the last 6 years or so. Before that I ran Clearview on my PC. I guess you could say that this dev has helped make me the RC pilot I am today. Allowing me to develop my RC flight skills to second nature saving me a ton of money and making it so much more fun in the field flying expensive Helis and Planes. Since installing Absolute and Clearview years ago I have grown my hangar to include thousands of dollars in model planes as well as helicopters and even more on drones, some of which I fly professionally. Sure I could spend $200 or more on a PC simulator that is so heavy on resources it barely runs, even if you have the components to run it. Instead, I just pick up my iPad and warm up before taking up the $1000 plus aircraft. It’s less about the muscle memory on real sticks and way more about developing proper reflexes to handle the aircraft in any orientation and situation without jerking the sticks the wrong way when you tip stall or graze a tree branch.
