My main forecast app now
After WeatherUnderground became useless, I searched for an alternative. I noticed my car info system used Foreca so I checked out their app. Accurate and easy to see the week ahead at a glance. Good data and good designJjvornov
Responsive developer
Seems decent, but at times not overly accurate. I can live with that. Like the Meteogram. Kind of similar to Wunderground before it got ruined by IBM in Dec 2019.
Developer is very responsive and corrected the issue with widget not loading after an update almost immediately.
Suggestions to developers, mostly regarding meteogram.
1. Allow a mini version of meteogram in the widget (that’s what I miss most from the ruined Wunderground app).
2. Also, in the meteogram, it would be helpful if the nights are shaded - that will also help to get the sense of the weather at a glance.
3. Please do allow to rotate the screen on iPhone, that would help with meteogram.Show lesshmzppz
My #1 Weather Source
Absolutely love this app! It is the only weather source I rely on for day-to-day planning and travel plans ...it is that accurate. I have been using it for (10+) years and other sources pale in comparison when it came to accuracy.LFd'A, FR
Gives all the pertinent info upfront
One bonus is having the sunrise and sunset times. I wish there was a one-time upgrade option to get rid of ads though. Would be worth it. Keep it up!FujitaGoro
Feels like back
Update radar is massively improved zoom function helps with traveling surrounding areas moved to 4 stars Thankfully they have added the temperature feels like
The amount of precipitation with the % of possibility. Zoom radar is brilliant for view if traveling so you could see the storm front direction and path
Still only 4 star as it only has wind speed and not gust speed I use this app daily and the 3 day range is pretty reliable
Shame no gfs chart would make this the best app out thereShow lessall riders catered???

Foreca has the best forecast around! It’s closer than any other weather service provided by an APP. I’ve used it for several years and can make bank on what they say is going to happen! I dare you to try it out for a month!Tamathyst

Accurate
I find Foreca accurate across New Zealand, I also appreciate the hourly forecast which is usually very accurate eg when a southerly is going to hit! I also like the wind direction/speed indicator. I find their temperatures are always a degree or two lower than met service.Caroline111975
Perfect weather app
This is what a weather app should be like - simple, pleasant yet interactive interface and accurate. It includes several needed functions I've found only in certain apps but Foreca includes them all in one place.GeorgeB977
