Uninstalled as soon as I read the Concord “article” praising it & calling it a good game. When GameStop’s game magazine spends more time hyping up AAAA slop that is so universally hated that it goes offline in 2 weeks, you know that this magazine isn’t here to talk about good games. It’s clearly just poorly disguised Native Advertising that GameStop wants to hype up to drive preorders. Sadly I only found a few pages talking about actual good indies as most of the page space is dedicated to advertising AAA/AAAA titles from major publishers. In addition, the last article from September 2024’s issue was an interview with Eli Roth for the awful Borderlands movie. In that article, he admits he hadn’t played video games since the 70s, got the big actors to perform in it because they owed him favors & hyped up the props more than the actual script (since he probably knew it was just a Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff). It’s clear that this “magazine” has more in common with GameStop’s catalog rather than actual journalism. Don’t bother reading it!
