  • Crashes

On iOS 5.1.1 the app crashes while selecting and auto-detected NAS or while trying to add a NAS manually.

The app also freezes on start up necessitating it be killed and restarted.

To date I have never been able to actually connect to my NAS to perform any function due to the above issues - currently an effectively useless app; do not download until QNAP resolves these issues.

  • Not the greatest...

This app is ok for basic tasks but nothing more. This app would be much more useful if you could change settings, add folders and change rights, but you can't. Working on the web interface is excruciating on a mobile device, this app has the potential to fix that, but falls short.
  • please fix event log details

works well but truncate tail of event log detail text.

please fix it with multi-line. that'll be perfect for me.
  • Wol not worked

WOL not working here, tried local network, i have qnap 219p II.
Will give 5 stars if it work
Would be good activate, disable, remove and install apps from qmanager
  • Love this app

QNap is doing a good job improving this app. It started off as a much simpler app but is now improving so you can control much more.

I love the addition of the WoL feature. I'm going to use it when it get home and update my review to reflect whether it works or not.

Thank you for WoL QNap Team!
  • Ok--missing useful functionality

This application is just OK. You can view most of the settings on your NAS.

But you can't change many of them with this application. You have to log in via the website console to do that.

So while this has potential, it only gets 3 stars for now because it is really just a setting viewer.
  • Nice!

I'm happy they added this tool. What is really like to see is a way to unlock encryption from the app. It would make it easier for me when I'm on the road and my qnap has been rebooted at home. Otherwise, I'd have to take the long route and log in through the web interface from my phone. Not fun.

Looking good so far. Please keep adding to it.

  • Could be just that little bit better

A good little App for interrogating your QNAP NAS. The only suggestion I'd make is for QNAP to add a Wake on LAN button so that so can actually startup the NAS from standby. After all, there are buttons for Shutdown and Restart.
  • Services turn back on

Excellent both used on own wifi and remote access

One issue. When I turn off music and photo services, when I log back on , both have started running again.
  • Qmanager Worthy Of 5 Stars

Great utility. I like that I can monitor and control most of the essential features of my turbo NAS. Helpful if you want to keep a watchful eye on things when you are away from home. Allows you to enable/disable applications on the fly and turn your NAS on/off remotely. Very useful, real time saver. Recommended!
