  • Well Done!

A wonderful implementation of the Cassino card game with a worthy opponent to play against!

To those that reviewers who say the deck is not random are wrong. It is. I win approximately 80% of the time with the difficulty set to Hard. Luck does play a role but even more important is the strategy used. Keep playing and lean from your losses and you will improve.

Thanks for the review. It is nice to hear you like the app. The most recent update added a new difficulty level, Insane, which is much harder than Hard and should give you more of a challenge
  • Great but too expensive

Excellent game I’ve been looking for but way too expensive just to remove the ads. if it was say 3 bucks i’d pay. i’ll just put up with them.
  • Love the customizable rules

I play with the pirate custom features all on and it changes the game completely. I play with my wife and wow does this ever stir up emotions, awesome gameplay. Now she yells at me even more lol. Please take my money!
  • Scoring and hands dealt

In most of the games I play against the computer, the computer’s King will build up to 14 cards in one round of play. I finally took a screenshot - it’s so common. Also, the scoring is not always 11 points split between the two players. I took a screenshot of a game in which only a total of 7 points was given. Otherwise, I love playing this game. Now, off to get trounced by the computer and its building of Kings. :)

Thanks for the feedback. When there is a tie for most cards or most spades there can be less than 11 points given out for that game, as described in the rules.
  • OK, but could be so much better

The game of Cassino is a great game and thank for this app. I have 2 issues with it. First, it does not track your wins and loses when you are playing solo. Second, the deck is not random. If you put the difficulty on “hard” the cards are stacked against you. If you set it to medium, the cards are stacked against the computer. Crazy, just let the cards be dealt in random.

Thanks for the feedback. The most recent update includes a stats page that tracks your wins and losses. I can assure you the cards are dealt completely randomly no matter what difficulty setting you are playing against.
  • Fun with friends but not with the computer

I thought I was going crazy or being a sore loser but after reading others complain maybe not...I love this game but the computer in this app almost always have the same exact cards that I have when I go first and sweeps every hand dealt. Initially I thought it was chance but after playing over and over again I'm fairly certain this is how the computer is dealt (maybe on the difficult setting). I've also noticed that the computer makes fairly novice mistakes, like putting down a card that lets me build to a number that any human would know I had. In a difficult setting it seems weird that this happens.
I also don't like that there's no option to build with the cards on the table, which Is how I learned to play.
With all that said I've enjoyed playing with My partner while he is abroad so I'm glad it exists!!

Thanks for the review. I can assure you the cards are dealt completely randomly and the difficulty level does not affect the shuffling of the deck. The new Insane difficulty should make less novice mistakes, however sometimes the computer has a good reason for doing something that may initially look like a mistake without knowing the other cards in its hand. There are a lot of variations of Cassino so it is hard to support them all, but we may add more in future updates. I'm glad you enjoy the app.
  • A childhood favorite done fairly well

Was really excited to find this game existed as an app, outside of playing when back home with family. Pleased to find that changing to custom variations I can align scoring with how I was taught. However! There is a big flaw in an element of the game. If a player is building something, as long as it is not repeated (i.e.: 2+10=Q) then it is open to be modified by the other player to a value in their hand. This works for the computer, however if I want to modify the computers build using the board and capture it from a card in my hand, it does not allow it.

Thanks for the review. Single builds are open to be modified by you just the same way as the computers can. If this happens again, please send a screenshot to cassino@ejdokken.com
  • Fantastic game

I was so surprised and delighted to find this game as an app. My grandfather from South Africa taught our family how to play Cassino and we are all big fans. I never knew where it came from and after getting this app found that it originated in Italy. No idea how come my grandfather played it. I play the traditional version but quite enjoyed trying the other options you gave too. Thank you so much for putting this game out there! Cards and spades are 4!!! 😊

  • Invite a friend doesn't work!!

I was so excited to find this app. However when you play easy mode, the computer makes obvious mistakes, but on medium the computer doesn't play better, it just takes all your plays/has better cards. The way the cards are dealt between modes shouldn't change, just the level of the player (like doesn't trail a queen when another queen is on the board or plays an A first card out). My biggest complaint is when you try to invite a friend or they invite you, you can't get to the game. I'm not sure if it's this app or the Game Center App that is glitching but it's super obnoxious. Either way Please Fix!!!

Thanks for the feedback. I can assure you the shuffling and dealing of cards is completely random and is not affected by the difficulty level. The medium difficulty level does play better than easy. When invited by a friend to an online game, it should bring you straight to the game automatically after tapping the invite notification. However, when invited by a friend to a turn-based game, you have to navigate yourself to your current turn-based games list by tapping Multiplayer, Turn-Based, Start.
  • Playing with others

Love this game but I can never find another online player. I feel like the computer always happens to have the same cards as me. I mean in real life it happens when you don't shuffle the cards correctly but in the app not so sure. I love how the game I can customize it to the way I was thought at home. It's improving but I wish I was able to play with another player.
