Fantastique

Merci !

L'esthétisme du dernier Update est awesome !!!!!

Par contre, mes listes sont régulièrement effacées ...

Todo, reminders, lists of all kinds!

This app is brilliant. It's success is in it's simplicity. Very versatile and can be modified for all types of list keeping. It is worth 5 stars as it is but password protection for the records would be icing on the cake!

Not flashy, but effective

I've been using Clear, but I've never found it all that efficient for actually *building* lists, as good as it is for processing them.

Ita solves the creation problem, making it super speedy to add a lot of items. And the lack of dependence on gestures makes it more approachable for newcomers.

iCloud sync between my devices has been flawless, and the list sharing features are simple but useful.

Definitely a 'less is more' vibe going on, and that suits me just fine.

There are almost no customization options, but that also works for me. Lists are the sort of thing I want to be done with quickly, and Ita lets me do that without any fuss.

Meh

Nice simple UI for moving list items and marking them checked/unchecked, but the font size is ridiculously large and non-configurable. Deal breaker for me.

Effective!

Easy to use!

Best basic list-making app out there!

...and I've tried a bunch of them. Best of all, it smoothly syncs via iCloud!

UPDATE: I got bit by the iCloud list-wiping bug, but the developer was very responsive, helpful and sympathetic. I'm really looking forward to seeing the iOS 7-related update, which is (hopefully) coming soon. Keep it simple though guys; it needs a facelift, but no huge bells & whistles.

Version 2.0 UPDATE: I like the new look & features. Now to see how stable/reliable it is... I've continued to have some issues with lists not syncing cleanly across devices in recent weeks (prior to the 2.0 version coming out). And call me nit-picky, but I think they could've come up with a more creative new icon. It's pretty incongruous, don't you think??

One wish is that the iOS 8/Yosemite upgrades to iCloud make it possible to see our lists on the iCloud website (or something similar), so we can access our lists from a computer too.

Updates a bit flat

Interesting update but now looks like all the other 'flat' list managers. Of all the old skeuomorphic apps that have now fallen by the wayside, the feel of Ita is the one I'll miss the most.

Excellent App

I haven't found another simple to-do list app that I like better. It's quick and easy to use. The only thing I would change is the ability to switch off the "Don't have Ita" tagline when sharing emails. I understand why it's in there, but I'd like to be able to turn it on or off.

A useful and well designed App

I was first turned on to Ita by Gruber of Daring Fireball, and I'm so pleased that I purchased this app. I use it every day.

The UI/UX is top shelf, and the new design/version is much easier on the eyes. Functionality is also improved.

I use Ita to keep lists for grocery shopping, projects, chores, and anything else in my life which needs to be organized in a list form.

What I like about Ita is being able to have all of my various lists in one place and the ability to visually see what's been completed and what else needs to be done.

If you use/need lists to help keep your life organized, Ita is the App for you. I give it 5 stars and the latest version & re-design 5+ stars.

Great app. Buy it and be happy & organized.

Well. All my lists are gone.

July 2014: I had a ton of lists on here. They are gone. Not happy.

Below, I gave good reviews because it was the only list app with multi-line previews.

ORIGINAL:
I scoured the App Store for an app that would allow me to type multiline list items (notes than span more than one line) and see them all at once without having to go into an item detail. I wanted this because it allows me to create lists of ideas that are easy to reference.

I was so happy to find Ita. (It was a good replacement for Zenbe Lists, which was discontinued years ago but had that very same feature.)

It's great that it also has an iPad and an iPhone app that syncs (via iCloud).

The two above make this exactly what I needed.

However, a few complaints:
- No other way to access or backup the list outside of the iPad/iPhone apps.
- A simple tap marks the item as done, instead of allowing you to go in and edit it. Editing takes a swipe and a tap. I wish a tap was an edit, a swipe in one direction was marking it as done, and a swipe in another to delete.
- When adding a new item, you can easily press Next to add another. Well, this is a little too easy (at least on the iPad) and you can mistakenly move on to another item without a quick keyboard stroke to go back.

Thank you!
