Subscription

Subscription models for apps are one of the most greedy most frustrating things that’s becoming a part of everything. I get that developers need to make money. But can we please bring back one time payments? Or run ads with an option to purchase to remove.

Also a caution to new moms with these kinds of resources! Researching leaps and developmental stuff for your kid is totally fine but you have to remember that each kiddo is unique and not gonna follow a textbook! Sometimes they cry… because they’re babies and they cry and you’re doing the best you can. You ultimately know your baby best. Don’t fall into the “oh no why are they crying and not sleeping well?? It says online this shouldn’t be happening yet! I’m checking all the boxes and doing all the right things!” Again. Nothing wrong with following leaps. Just don’t obsess about it too much ;)

Payant

L’application a l’air super mais il n’y a aucune option pour que ce soit gratuit en format restreint.

Sanity saved.

It gives me my sanity back. similar things happened with my daughter and son, they’d be clingy, whiney, cluster feed, sleep disrupted and I would always feel like I was doing something wrong or turning to the internet for answers on sleep/feed etc
And then I would remember the app, open it up and lo and behold we’re in a leap. Like clockwork. It would bolster me knowing I’m doing everything as good as I can and that it would be over soon.
It doesn’t erase sleep deprivation though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Helpful to a point…

As a first time parent, this app was helpful in giving some insight into what my young baby was learning & experiencing. It also gave some good ideas for games. I found it fairly accurate for my daughter as an infant, although I can’t say we ever really noticed “leaps” in terms of sudden changes in sleep or behaviour (thankfully?)
However, after the first 12 months I have found it less helpful, mostly because of the huge assumption that your baby is walking. There’s such a huge age range of “normal” for walking to occur so I find it unfortunate that this app doesn’t account for that. This adds undue stress to parents whose children are taking a little bit longer to walk.

Hi, we work hard to empower parents worldwide, and we're truly sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. If you have any suggestions for improvement, we’d love to hear them. Please email us at support@thewonderweeks.com.

I suggest this app to anyone that will listen.

My child just turned three, so I don’t use the app anymore, however, I suggest it to everyone that I know that is pregnant or getting ready for a baby.
Do I think the app would benefit from having a longer timeframe on development on children, yes. But I think you’ll get there.
Overall, great job. (:

Tips

In the early days, months 0-3 the leaps helped give some context for what could be happening, what to look for. I started using the journal function and love it

Worth it!

I read The Wonder Weeks book with my first child, and was so excited to see that there was an app when I had my second. This app is so useful. It really gives you an incredible understanding of what your baby is experiencing, ways to support them, and what to look for in each leap. I love the app, the videos, and how interactive it is. The calendar feature is my favorite. If my baby is having an off day I can see if he’s a storm cloud or if there might be some other concern. I can schedule important things while he is sunshine. I recommend this app to EVERYONE I know when they have a baby! The only thing I would change is I wish my husband and I could share it. I think it’s silly he would have to buy the app too for the same kiddo. We should be able to share a login as he should be able to reference the app too.

A Must-Have For New Parents!

The Wonder Weeks app has been a game-changer for me as a new parent! It provides clear insights into my baby’s development, predicting “leaps”—periods of mental growth that can cause changes in mood, sleep, and behavior.

The personalized timeline, based on my baby’s due date, is so helpful. It lets me anticipate these phases, which has made it easier to handle the clinginess or sleepless nights that come with each leap. I also love the practical tips and activity ideas tailored to each stage. They give me confidence that I’m helping my baby learn and grow in ways that match their development.

The app is beautifully designed, easy to navigate, and has helpful extras like a sleep tracker and diary for noting milestones. Overall, The Wonder Weeks has brought me so much peace of mind and understanding during my parenting journey—I’d highly recommend it to anyone with a little one!

Will use for all my babies

I used the wonder weeks app 3 years ago with my daughter. It was insanely accurate for us. Anytime she wasn’t herself, I’d check the app and sure enough she’d either be just starting a leap or just about to. It helped to understand what she was going through, what milestones she was perfecting, and assure me in those rough nights that she wasn’t giving me a hard time, she was just having a hard time. Now 3.5 years later I’m using it with my son. Last night was easily the worst night we’ve had, and I remembered the app, checked, and of course he just started his first leap! I’m very grateful for this app. I recommended it to my friend that just had her first baby, too. The layout is easy to understand, the tips they offer during baby’s leaps to encourage more developmental growth is great. I appreciate the explanation of what leaps are and the option to journal and keep track of everything is a very nice feature. Absolutely love Wonder Weeks.
