Bundle for MS Office Templates User Reviews

Mediocre

Ok as far as it goes. Don't understand other reviews which claim you can't edit - they either aren't using Microsoft Word (for Mac) or their installation is faulty. The big issue is that for repetitive editing (such as business cards) there is no wizard to fill in all the repeats. This is a common problem that no-one seems to have addressed. The designs aren't wonderful but hey - they are free! Why it needs an app to feed the templates into Word is difficult to understand as all you need to do is download and save to the templates folder - word does the rest - so why have a separate app???

Its pretty decent.

I'd prefer a few more Powerpoint options to make this truly useful - inreality it is really just a patch for your Microsoft Word options (something someone like myself who primarily needs this to do lectures/presentations) found lacking. In retrospect this is great for someone who has a blog and posts a variety of recipes etc. or wants to start a digital magazine because it has just so many layouts you could apply to places via Word.

Overall its a decent addition to my choices and it is made very clear that this is not an app in the normal fashion so anyone complaining about that should probably just actually read what they're downloading before they download it. My favourite thing about this is that I don't have to download all of them at once, I can keep just the ones I want and be done with it - without adding all of the ones I know I'll never use or don't like to my harddrive.

PS. I was using it perfectly fine on Mountain Lion with Word 2004.

yep rubbish

yep this app is total rubbish now won't leave my computer it seems to be locked.

useless

I could not use it to do anything

Works great with LibraOffice as well!!

This is a good free selection of templates, easy layout to see what you are going to get. Best of all if you have Libraoffice or Openoffice installed the templates open in these apps as well.
Thanks to the developer for freebies :-)

For free, who can complain?

Okay, so not all of these templates would win a design award, but there's a good cross-section of potentially useful templates to chose from for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I don't understand the reviews complaining that you can't edit them - I can only assume they don't have MS Office installed. Duh!

I'd give it a 4, but I feel compelled to try and strike some balance with the unfair 1* reviews, so giving a 5 for good measure.

Not good

I wasn't even able to open one of the selections. I guess I will never get back that 20 minutes of my day. I suggest don't down load and simply move onto something that actually works.

Great free templates for those who don't have time to make their own

This app works better under Office 2011, and under Mountain Lion now that I upgraded. However, that being said, I think the others having problems are those who have other system issues, and don't know how to resolve them. People please review your crash logs, and console monitor after you have problems to figure out most times it is not an app, but corrupted preferences, or something else simple like that. Just because the Mac OS is mostly trouble free, unlike windows doesn't mean you should not maintain it like any other machine you rely upon. Most people who use computers know nothing of maintaining them, and the underlying cause of problems is human error. That being said, this is a great free app for templates when you don't have enough time to make your own. Sometimes that report looks better under a fresh layout, and your handy work can shine despite your lack of sleep. Thanks for the free app!!!!

Not many templates

There's only 2 resume templates .. :/

Disappointed

Downloaded out of curiosity and tried to view a template. It is now frozen on my desktop and I can't get it off. Ugh.
