Description of Deed Calls

“Deed Calls - Area - Perimeter” is a handy universal app for iPAD, iPhone and iPod touch that lets you easily convert real property description into a boundary map. This app will let you specify the starting point, units of measure and label attributes, then draw the property boundary as you enter the angles and distances. It will display the angles and distances as well as the closure error, total area and perimeter. You may email the deed calls file (*.dcf), or output the deed calls and drawing as a PDF file. If your device has GPS capability, you may pick the GPS location as the point of beginning. Please note: Location data depends on the GPS receiver used. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The Deed Calls app will let you easily toggle the built-in GPS on or off. This app comes with a built-in help file.

Reviews of Deed Calls

  • Great but needs a kml or cvs export function

This would be 5 stars except for one important thing -- there is no export of the resulting shape file. Just email or pdf, which is not particularly useful. Any work done in this app will have to be redone in another program if you want the resulting data. But that it actually does deed calls is great! Almost there .... please add an export function!
