myCal PRO is my most used app, I use it every day. For all medical data I colour the text space green, all holiday stuff the text space is yellow and so on, which makes finding stuff faster. Also each of my important titles is preceded by a symbol - for example a blood drop 🩸for all my medical stuff, 🌈for a certain person etc. So if I want to see every day that I have contacted my doctor, I just enter 🩸 (& search) and all days are listed chronologically on the screen from years ago through to appointments I have made for the future. In this way myCalPRO acts as a very useful diary of past events as well as a reminder for future events.Show lessIago99

Thanks for the feedback. That's a very old version of iOS but is still supported. I'll see if I can find an old device that still has that version. In the mean time, try deleting the app and reinstalling? Thanks JohnFabulous app!
In MyCal Pro the developer has provided the user with the perfect means of keeping track of events and tasks. The GUI is pleasant and using the app is a joy. The recent addition of widgets to the package only makes a great app better. Kudos to the developer for their efforts. Prices for various add-on features are absolutely fair and reasonable IMO. I’ve had this calendar app for years and am continually happy with everything about it! They are absolutely the fastest at reaching out to help anytime I’ve had some confusion. Highly recommend that you give this app a go. You won’t be disappointed!New1357

This is brilliant, way better than the others I tried. It allows me to type in with colour options my many commitments for the this and next year. I can forward plan with ease and it will allow me to see my appointments in a variety of formats to suit how I want to view them. It's been very reliable and the upgrades are not expensive. The technical support is first class and free, and recently helped me to sync the calendar on all my devices. This is so much better than the Apple Calendar . Latest updates in 2020 making it even better. This app just gets better and better, and improvements in 2021 have made it even more versatile in being able to meet everyone’s choices of what an event and planning diary could be. Update to my review October 2023: I couldn’t plan my day,weeks, months better with any other app. It’s so easy for me to use the colours I want to highlight the things I do. Yellow is my colour for appointments that are important as it shows up really well and Red is my colour for important things I must do. If an appointment has to change it’s so simple to select it and change its date and it moves to the new date. I also make notes on my appointment to remind me of what happened if I look back at past events, which is very convenient and I often go back one or two years to do this. This is all done on my phone so it’s always with me.
I recently had a problem on a Sunday and sent a message to John. Amazingly I had a response in under 2 hrs and resolved my problem which was to do with settings on my iPhone and not the App. That’s what I call service !Show lessDontknowwhatsupthere

The boss and I have had this app for years (a review is long overdue!) and it has helped us organize our life far more than anything else ever did. It has also prevented many arguments.
Each of us, including the kids, have a different color. Work events have another, and it is easy to set reminders. It is easy to quickly see what is going on and who is responsible for being there…and when!
The functionality and user-friendliness of MyCal Pro far exceeds the native calendar that is on our devices. Additionally, the developer, John, responds to questions and/or addresses issues quickly and courteously.

Nightmarish problem fixed
Update to my previous review.
Thanks to the very quick response from John my nightmarish problem was fixed -- by a simple setting change. I think it was caused by an app or iOS update. I wish that this known issue was communicated to all users as soon as it was discovered. But I'm now happy and want to give it a 5 star rating it deserves.
I used myCal Pro for years and was highly dependant on it for my daily life. Imagine waking up to a blank calendar one morning -- and that did happen to me! In total frustration I aired it by giving a single star review in App Store, and went back to use my Apple Calendar. After calming myself down I decided to contact support before I went to bed in late evening. By the morning I read John's email sent at 1:20AM! Telling me how to fix it in my iPhone setting, which I did and got back my data. :)Show lessTFF007
