  • Run Homey Run!

Frankly, this was the first app I downloaded on my iPad. I was rather apprehensive, it looked cool, but it was a free app, so I was all like, is it going to pull a fast one and "if you want this thing, you gotta get the full version." they Haven't. You can unlock the zombie fighting goodness and upgrade your weapons all on the free version

It looks cool, it is cool. I always have a lot of fun running from the follower zombies (savior shots are a life saver-literally) and shooting those who stand in my way. You better try it now

  • Gamer

Simple to learn and play, I like this game because it's a fast paced strategic Shooter with a twist on running and gunning. The game is challenging enough for me to keep playing. Best of all you don't have to play for hours to get small rewards like leveling up. At the of the day it's a cell phone game. If people want to occupy there time with a cell phone game, they want it to pay off

  • An average upgrade runner with interesting mechanics

If you've played free games like Jet Pack Joyride or Temple run you won't be that far off from Running Dead. The game can become repetitive, but has an upgrade system that makes it worth about an hour of your time if you're into that thing.
There is an cool way to get away from zombies chasing you, making them run into cars, so you can play a game of picking up an item or losing the zombies chasing you. These moments are few, but the game manages to stay classy and has an overall good performance as a casual title that's easy to handle.

  • Very good

In most games you have to buy gold with real money but in this you can earn gold fairly easily and even if you had to buy the gold it's reasonably priced so great work on not being like other games, as far as the game play it's really fun, it's like a cross between temple run and zombie head quarters, so if you like those two then you will love this.

  • It's simple, changing the perspective.

This game synopsis is nothing new. Run around killing zombies and survive for a s long as you can. But this game changes the perspective. They way you view the game is completely new, and breathtaking. This is one of the most visually detailed games I have ever played on an iPhone. The controls are easy to pick up, and it is very addictive. A+

  • Great, but lacking..

The game overall is pretty dang good. My only complaints are small ones and mostly meant as critique. This game needs jumping at the least, dodging in some cases. Forcing a player to take damage when they are out of ammo or because a wall is in the way of a zombie playing quarterback out of view is not "tactical" or "skillful" intrigue, just cheap ending crap. The female model was obviously worked on much longer or with more affection than the male. The guy looks like an autistic angry smudge. The female looks decent and actually well designed. "Accuracy" is not the term you should use for what the actual upgrade does.. Try range. The spawns of both items and zombies need to be tweaked. You should not be so short on ammo just because the ammo boxes spawned in literally impossible to reach areas. Not much else to say beyond all of that. Hope it helps.

  • One of my favorite iOS games.

So simple, yet so brilliantly executed. Lots of weapons to choose from and they aren't ridiculously priced either. Downloaded it on the Free For A Day promotion, it's worth paying for. So much fun, so frenetic and scary as hell when the zombie horde starts closing on your heels! The setup options are much appreciated, you can customize gameplay a lot.

  • Very simple and engaging gameplay

Graphics are good, gameplay is fun, controls are extremely simple, IAPs are not annoying. This is the recipe to a great game on iOS.

This game is one of the simplest pick-up-and-play titles I have played. The tutorial in this game is something every single app developer should learn from.

It's just really fun. Buy it and you won't have to worry about in-app purchases. They just let you unlock stuff early on without the simple grinding.

  • Run from the dead

The Running Dead is another never ending runner (similar to Temple Run, etc.) where you shoot zombies and ultimately try to not get caught by the enemies chasing the player. There are lots of weapons and upgrades to help defeating enemies much easier and makes for lots of replay value.

The biggest problem with this game is that it is too easy. Other games like this are fun to pick up on the go because the games are so short and any mistake will punish you. In Zombie Run, it is pretty difficult to die, even if you have the weakest weapon! The player can run into wandering zombies and will get grabbed, but the player does not die. It would be nice if any small mistake would defeat the player, but this seems to be a feature. There are also lots of bugs and slow down issues that can be frustrating. I tend to play this until I get bored -- then I let myself die.

The title screen has really eerie music that reminds me of Resident Evil on PS1, but the in-game music is absolutely horrible and lacks taste. Also, the sound effects are pretty annoying so I would recommend playing this one on silent. I am not a fan of the game’s title because it is a clear copy of the Walking Dead.

It is nice that there are choices for controls, characters, weapons, and upgrades, but this app does not work well for short on-the-go playing. But if you have a lot of time to put into this in one sitting, this is the shooter for you.

  • Pure awesome!

This game is an excellent example of great, simple gameplay on a portable device such as the iPhone. The graphics are very well detailed and the sounds effects are amazing. The controls are very simple to understand, but that doesn't mean that the game is easy. It is moderate in difficulty and a fun difficulty at that. You can buy guns, which will make you play for hours trying to get those weapons. If you love zombie games, then don not hesitate on getting this one. Awesome job developers. You guys truly deserve the 5 stars.
