Would like a few more features
I use this software as a criminal court judge. It works very well, but some added features would be nice. It shows page and line numbers running on the left side, but a time stamp would also be helpful to refer back to things, as a time reference is usually easier in a quick moment. Also, the text can be a little small, and filling the screen in landscape would be nice for ease of reading.Show lessRkpat

Judges and attorneys are blown away when I provide them an iPad to follow along with the proceedings. Now, if I could edit on my iPad in a separate file, I would renew my certificate in March.Chivy3

Outstanding app for court reporters that use Stenograph Corporation's CaseCatalyst software. Allows the reporter to provide deposition testimony and court proceedings real-time to attorneys and judges on the iPad. It could also be used to provide CART for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
Con: Saves/emails in CaseViewNet file format. This file can only be opened on a PC. So the iCVnet user views the proceedings on an Apple product but cannot go back to the office and open the file on his Mac.Show lessUSGA Fan
Ip numbers?
I am only able to hook up to cvn at work by manually inputting the ip number into my judge's computer. I am unable to do this on this app, and it doesn't find my network. Is there a way to fix this?Kelsmith78

This app was anticipated eagerly. It has met expectations and then some. Not all the bells and whistles of CVN but enough to get the job done.Bethesda26
Great option to connect
I love having the option to connect to realtime this way. I am very hopeful for a system enhancement with an option to increase the font size, spacing, color of text and ability for attorneys to mark text. Then it will definitely be a 5!1Stenogirl
