We've made a range of updates based on feedback: - reworked our main location tracking algorithm to make it more battery efficient. - updated interface to work on all iphone screens. - added back-up functionality to download your location database - add additional settings to control the location tracking code to give control on how the events the app tracks. - Updated initial interface so it always shows the last 24hours of events. - simplified the main interface and menus

We've incorporated the following features and updates: - Smart Location Monitoring: This improves location accuracy of events by smartly using the phones GPS capability, while minimising battery impact. Field test show that battery usage with this feature enabled remains below 4%, typically background battery usage is approximately 2-3%. the following has been updated or improved: - We've added a feedback button (mail icon). We'd love to hear what you think, and any features you're looking for us to develop next. If you're interested in being part of the early adopters user group use this feature to drop us a note too!. - We have changed the look of the date range button. Its now got a calendar icon - We have changed the look of the share to facebook button. Its now a forward arrow. - We've heard Open Street Maps (OSM) may be data hungry, so we've gone back to apple. However as soon as we've worked out how to make OSM cool with data - it'll be back! - we've updated the backend database structure to allow better statistics in future releases - We think black and white is cool, so we've updated the colour scheme of our interface. This should hopefully help navigation around the app too. - updated some bugs and fixed some spelling mistakes that you may or may not have noticed :) Enjoy the latest version of AILocations. We've been away for a while, however don't worry we're back with some really cool updates. Here's what we've been working on: - We've improved performance by introducing threading to the app. Now intensive calculations are performed in the background. - We've added some beautiful maps using cool tile data from the OpenStreetMaps projects. - We've included the ability to specify start and end dates so you can now see journeys over a date range. - We've added the ability to connect to facebook so that you can post your favourite journey's with your friends. - The app now automatically improves the quality of the events database so that your statistics are even more accurate. - The application now looks great on all versions of the iPhone. - We've fixed a range of bugs that you may or may not have experienced.
