No consistent functionality

I print crosswords and sudoku every day. It will work fine for a while then no print icon. Now i can’t even do a screen shot because I can’t reduce the size of the puzzle. Can you fix this already?

Complaining does no good. Never a response and I don’t really expect one now. I’m just so sick of this. If you want to go digital, fine, I understand. I even like the enewspaper option. I read it every morning but if that is the decision, do it right and make sure your options work because printing the above areas absolutely do not work! Change apps whatever, just make sure it works.

Ads with music? Really?

This app was fine for keeping up with at least the headlines. Now all the ads play music. Please explain to me who wants an ad playing music while they are scrolling through the news? Fix that (make the default mute at least) and maybe get another star or two.

Unreliable

Every day starts with a challenge when I try to navigate this app. I miss the print edition, but because it was printed in another city, I could never count on the time of delivery. Now I get messages like,” for subscribers only.” or, a page will freeze. Sometimes I will only get USA Today without any local news. There is not much that is intuitive about it. Reading the” paper.” has become laborious.

Unable to change email address

My current email address will soon be defunct but I can find now way to enter a new email address.

Much needed local coverage

Pensacola is served by better local journalism than most America communities. Every municipality deserves this.

What’s News

Best way to stay in the know about what is going on all around us!

Still needed

Kudos to the Pensacola News Journal for continuing to publish a real newspaper. Although the content is reduced from its former days in column inches, the News Journal continues to provide valuable local news such as some investigative reporting and items about Restaurant health inspections and other local matters that would be hard to obtain elsewhere.

New App

Do not like! Not user friendly especially for older adults! Hard to read since the print’s so small & when reading the funnies you cant rotate each funny to make it larger. There’s no place to tap to print articles, puzzles, & detest the advertisement boxes that pop up (the PNJ isn’t free & I abhor the ad popups!) I suspect your current subscribers will finally bite the bullet & leave your paper! While I’m at it, there are always misspelled words & often poor grammar. Don’t have spell-check? And finally, your Andy Marlette cartoon is, as usual, not funny, politically biased & full of untruths, as is the rest of the news in PNJ.
