Disappointed
I love Pastor on the desktop - I am disappointed that I waited before switching to another application to store passwords. No file security and no sync capability. It offers little or no functionality that could not be realized by using a spreadsheet. Deleted the application.mremlap
Unusable until there is security
Pastor for Mac is great. One of the things I like the best is how secure I feel using it to protect, well, everything. I was skeptical when the instructions told me to export my data as clear text to begin with, but I assumed that once it was on the phone every precaution had been taken to secure what is ultimately the most important information I have. Nothing. There is literally nothing besides my pocket. Even Groupon has a 4 digit sign in, which ironically I could find out what the four digits were by opening this unsecured app easier than I can use the groupon app itself. I uninstalled it immediately. This information is simply too important to leave unattended. Please add some security, and honestly I would hope it be strong security at that. Finally, A Way To Take Pastor With Me
I have been a huge fan of Pastor for years. It is a fantastic, simple, easy to use password keeper. The biggest drawback has been the lack of a mobile version. Now it is finally here. You do need to be careful. Pastor Reader doesn't use an encrypted file like Pastor. This means you really need to have a lock on your iPhone If you have enabled the lock on your phone then you are relatively safe but you really need to be careful about this. I hope Markus comes up with a way to encrypt the PastorReader app so that a password is required.Show lessHemo The Magnificent
Works as advertised, BUT...
Be sure to read all the information - there's no security on the app itself, just iPhone security. In other words, no option to turn on password protection for app launch. Unless you lock your iPhone and have it sewn into your body, be careful loading this app. For my own use, I wish that app-specific security was enabled.
