Good App, work in progress

This app is very cool. In some ways, its like a more sophisticated version of Figure - except without Figure's ease of recording and better percussion.

Chordion can produce very cool sounds. The drones are agreeable. It's fun to jam with.

Needs some improvements though:
1) Better in app help. A full-fledged tutorial would be great.
2) The levels aren't set properly, the keyboard is way louder than the chord buttons.
3) The whole loading user presets needs improvement. Unless you remember the name of the sound you loaded, its a pain to figure out what is the name of the preset.
4) It is really not clear how recording works for the app. That whole experience needs to be improved.
5) The drum sequencer could use more depth of control.

Keep up the good work.

Oh and make this app universal please!

Awesome

Great fun app. One feature I feel would improve it would be easier access to the occasional not-in-the-scale note through the non-chromatic keyboards (for example, accidentally from a major scale). Perhaps a solution would utilise the width of the keyboard more effectively (a sideways swipe? Or perhaps just another "column")

Beautiful App but..

...I can't see why the arpeggiator can't be utilised as an output when using virtual midi - unless I'm missing the bleedin' obvious(wouldn't be the first time!). This will be five-star perfection - also an iPhone version would be great.

Inspiring, intuitive and downright useful (and I feel downright mean giving it 4 stars). Look forward to seeing what's next.

Loving it!

I've only been using it for an hour or so, but I already love this app.
Simple, beautiful and powerfull. I would highly recommend it to any music professional, or just someone looking to have fun making music. This is a well thought out application. Well done guys. Please keep the updates coming. We would love to see a few more options.

So so...

Arpegiator and step sequence non usable in midi mode.

SoundPrism + Polychord = Chordion

Like the title states: Chordion is a unique combination of both apps. But this is good, because those are two of my favorite apps! Consider giving the keyboard quick-access modulation/pitch-bend functionality, and a quicker way to switch between different chord types (e.g. D, D7, Dmin can be accesses via a certain finger motion maybe).

Wonderful app! 🎢

Great program

Really cool program! Great for getting the melodies out quickly and experimenting on the fly. Def. worth the low price.

How It's Made.... seriously.

You know the tv show How It's Made? You know the stupid music they play constantly on that show? Annoying, right? Well if you want to recreate that music, buy this app. Because that's the only sound I could get out of this thing. If you want to actually make any kind of music that enjoyable to the ear, use something else. Even GarageBand is better. I gave it one star for the layout.

At first glance.

Okay At first glance I downloaded this application at night while in bed and was not impressed I got up the next day and started fiddling around only to find myself more confused than ever. As I started to tweak the settings understand the layout and how each piece works I began to find myself understanding more and more of the application I come from a guitar background as well as a digital music background and found that this application is just another enhancement to my recordings as well as live performance with friends.

The few things I find that would be nice to haves are overdub recording, Allowing the ability to press the record button Lay down some chords press play have the drum loop start play that for a little bit stop in then overdub any single notes that I might want to record on the keyboard.

I think there should be an option to save your music directly to the iPad versus having it connected to a computer

I have downloaded many music apps for creating ,manipulating And just having fun and by far this is the most intuitive app I downloaded for music creation to date.

The 3.99 price tag did not deter me as reading what the application could do I knew that with a little bit of time I be able to understand it

I look forward to many future updates for this application and I know that they will fix some of these things that aren't even really broken but just would be nice to have

Toy.

Extremely limited range of sounds possible, even with the minimal synthesis capabilities. App design is beautiful, so I gave it a extra star for that alone. If the designers add more sound types, maybe it will be better. This app is for non-musicians. Of course, musicians can and do make use of anything, but there are much better app synths and beat-makers available at a comparable price.
