BL is a great company to work with , i have only concern about prices which are comparativiely low

Not fair to their drivers

I’ve been working for Blacklane for almost 2 years. I got a 5 stars perfil what is almost impossible, if you work with people you know what I mean, if they are in a bad day they can give you a bad review for no reason. Three things this company have that makes any driver really think about leaving them: 1 if a job is cancelled within 1 hour or less or the client doesn’t show up you only receive 40% of the price. If it’s a £50 from an airport you take nothing home as you have to pay for parking and they probably keep the other 60% plus the commission they already made on top of the booking price. 2 they give a insane option for the clients to modify or cancel jobs if more than one hour from the pick up time. That would be okay if that wouldn’t be valid for long distance pickups. I’ve already drove 2 hours and got a job cancelled 1 hour and 2 minutes from pickup time. 3 they will charge you 50% of a job’s price plus handling fees if you be 1 minute late for pickup. Doesn’t matter if you got in any traffic issues. So basically their don’t care a bit about you not even if you’ve been on time for thousands jobs and be their best driver with best reviews

Hey guys, don’t waste your time Trying to apply in this company. they make it extremely hard to join. I’ve submitted all my documents, but there’s always something missing. This is frustrating and honestly ridiculous. I’ve wasted so much time running around to gather everything you requested, only to be told something else is missing.

If you don’t want to work with people, just be upfront so they don’t waste their time. This process feels unnecessarily difficult, especially compared to other companies where my paperwork was accepted without any issues. You’re making this harder than it needs to be.

App improving

The app seems to be improving, but there is some sort of double notification happening. When the app goes ping to advertise a job, there is a first pop up notification, which you can press. However it’s followed shortly after by a second notification which does nothing when you press on it. A bit frustrating as it seems to be for the same job available as the main screen only shows the one job. What I’m trying to explain is different to when multiples jobs pop up at the same time, this seems to be linked to just one job.

Fare is unfair

Poor customer service, not being honest with the charges, I do not recommend Blacklane to drivers. Blacklane is a broker and doesn’t have operating licence with TFL. It is only middle man taking advantage of trips and taking commission.

Needs Improvement

Lots of notifications pushed through to mobile devices indicating rides are available but most of the time, nothing shows up when you click on them.

Stop Unfair Practice

Just got onboarded recently & earlier was told will get paid in the 1st week of next month however later was told wont get paid until 17th of the next month. Later i did 5 rides & made over $600/- & received an invoice that $37/- will be credited into my account as rest of the money was charged for trip returned. During onboarding call i was informed i can return ride 6hrs prior without any penalty or negative impact on my account. Also when cancelling rides never it sent the charges for cancellation until 1 month later. It’s been very unfair & wont be driving for blacklane anymore. 1 month 5rides , 40+ hrs driving & over 1000 miles driven with low paying & later on taking rest in fees. They are just worst company to work with. Very saddening & i request my fellow fleet owners & drivers to be aware.

scoring problem

Hello, I have been working with blaclane for the last 2 months. They blocked me from opening an account because a friend of mine in the company got 4 stars and I got 9 5 stars and 1 4 stars. I have to accept an order to fix my rating. But they don't care. I wrote to them 3 times about different problems but no one got back to me. When I wrote to support they told me to send an email and said they can't do anything. We can't see which customer gave a rating for what reason. Maybe an unfair star was given. They don't offer an option to appeal.
