Fantastic program
I had been searching for an audio Bible for sometime. They either played music in the background that was very distracting from the reading or the narrator pronunciation was incorrect. Scourby’s reading is one of the best that I have heard. I especially like the way the verses are highlighted when and will scroll as Scourby is reading them. If one does not wish the scrolling that can be turned off. The font can be adjusted to one’s liking. You can make notes, bookmark verses or chapters. It has a way to set up a reading schedule and daily verses. All in all a fantastic program. I would highly recommend this.

Wonderfully designed and filled with lots of great features!
This is one of the most comprehensive and user friendly Bible apps that I have used. I had the very first edition of the Scourby Bible App because I grew up listening to him read the Bible on cassette tapes! It now lives on both my iPhone and iPad. I am a busy adult college student working part time with my church as well as working in the military. This app allows me to fill my mind with the word of God outside of my quite time alone with him. Extremely easy to navigate and use, has a great look and a wonderful sound quality. I have set up many playlists within seconds. A handy repeat function helped me to memorize some verses for a class I was taking at THE Ohio State. The team that keeps this app up to date has done an outstanding job. If you have a suggestion or question, they communicate quickly. I have suggested this app to several friends and they love it as well. Two thumbs aloft for this app!

Bad update!
I've had this app for over a year and used it everyday. Now they have done an update and it won't even download. Please fix. This is the best audio bible app out there.
IPad and IPhone Scourby Bible
I have made profitable and regular use of the Audio Bible read by Alexander Scourby for over 40 years. In my judgment, Scourby is the best reader available in the English language. I am very pleased now to see the availability of this program for IPhone and IPad. But in addition I am pleased to see continual improvements being made for the IPhone and IPad programs.

Don't waste money
This was a nice app, but I purchased this app for my wife it loads as "you bible" not even the same UI. Plus a lot of bible reading ads and add on suggestions with other clutter. She just uninstalled it. She already has a bible app. Wasted my $20.
Noise on the Audio portion
This app has a serious problem with static noise on the audio portion. It was so bad that I had to remove the app from my iPad.

Scouby Bible HD
I have had it for many months on my Ipad. I also purchased it on my Ipod. I love it. Scouby reads and the verse he is reading is highlighted and scrolls down by itself--unbelievable. I listen to it when I am going to sleep also and it is playing when I wake up. Great buy.
Cheaper than the CDS
Great app! Cheaper than the CD, easier to keep up with, and will not wear out unless they decide to not upgrade with each new ios. I have used it for almost a year. Create custom playlist and such. I enjoy the voice of Scourby.
