Just what I need

Great for repeatedly telling you when your allotted time is up. Reminds me to stir the pot while cooking, change exercise when working out etc.

Useful, Flexible, and Accessible

I'm using the app to remind me to stand up multiple times throughout the day, and it works well for this. And because the paid version lets you use multiple chime sets, I can use it for other things as well if I wish. On top of this, I'm very impressed by the developer, who, when he discovered that the app had some problems regarding VoiceOver access, immediately fixed the problems. This is a great app for anyone who needs to be reminded to do something on a regular basis.

Works perfectly for Pomodoro style work

Does exactly what it says, and well. My favorite task timer.

Yoga timer

I like this app a lot as I can time my yoga sequence for classes but I would like s chime that is more subtle but longer kind of like a gong

Love it when it works.

This is a simple chime with a clean and easy interface. I use it to time 30 second intervals for my morning yoga. It would be 5 stars if it didn't hang up and freeze on regular intervals. It just requires restarting, so not tragic but a bit irritating. Otherwise does everything I need cleanly.

A classic "on the tin" app

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it to remind me to apply coats of paint at regular intervals to my scale models. The app allows you to specify the chime interval and the duration e.g. every 20 minutes for six hours. Simple and effective. UI is pleasing to the eye too - clean and uncluttered. Great app.

Awesome tool for yoga!

I’ve started doing the asana course in the back of the very popular β€œLight on Yoga” by B.K.S. Iyengar, and he recommends holding each pose for 30-60 seconds. Trying to count for myself is distracting, and so is craning my neck to check the stopwatch on my iPad. Most of the timers in the app store are geared towards HIIT training, and they’re overly complicated. Chime Squirrel does exactly what I need, and it does it without being loud or obnoxious. I set the interval for my alarm, and the pleasant little chime lets me know when to switch into my next pose. Simple and effective.
