This is the best military retirement calculator I’ve seen to date, and I’ve been on the search for years to find one that calculated a reserve retirement. No more more need to use NSIPS or the dumb math formula that doesn’t account for taxes or inflation. Definitely worth $6 👍

Simple and easy to use just plug and play your info and it does VA disability % payout. It works for O’s, CWO’s and Enlisted. Zero problems. They update it every time a pay change for DOD or VA is issued. I retired in 2021 and still use it all the time for helping other people out to who are getting ready to retire figure out exactly how much your retirement check or VA check will be!

Medical board
It would be helpful if there was a portion for the Medical board like if you were DOD rating is 30% and it’s combat coded not sure if that’s too complicated or there’s too much play in it, but it would be helpful if y’all could figure that out.

This app is for people serious their retirement
TIGHT, concise, and accurate. Nothing comes close. This is the best value in the App Store and my favorite app of all time. My friend was using it and told the numbers were off for the app, so I had him explain to me why, and it turns out DFAS was wrong and the app caught it and now he is getting more money because of the app. In his case the app paid for itself a hundred times over every month. If you really want to know the number, this app is for you!

Not really inclusive
This is a nice calculator, but it could really be better and more inclusive if it allowed for factors that can be very common like medical retirements.
Include option to remove taxes for untaxed pension. You have a similar VA app. Why not combine them into one app?
If you have a straight, most uncommon military experience, then this app is great. Not sure that there are that many people who go in and do 20+ years and get out without spending time in a reserve status or get hurt.
I guess if you do not want to do the math yourself is is good. But, you do it once and then what? You don’t use the app again?

One minor suggestion
Please…allow the user to enter their pay entry base date (PEBD) as a saved variable so that they don’t have to continue to update “years of creditable service” every time they change their projected retirement date.

Zero issue with the app, VERY accurate! I’ve been retired for 5+ years and it’s still within a few dollars of what I actually get paid for my pension and VA.
Just one recommendation: add an average % increase for VA payout. VA % increase has been 3.7% yearly since 1975. So an average of 3.5% increase in VA payments each year would be accurate.

Worth your investment
This app is great, easy to use and although not perfect in terms of figures, it’s darn near 100%. My shipmate who recently retired showed me what he actually gets vs what the app says, and I estimate that the app is around 98% accurate. This has helped many veterans including myself plan for post military life. Highly suggest spending the money as you will not be disappointed.

Update disability numbers
Your disability numbers are not correct. I just received mine from the VA and they do not match what you have here. In fact they are higher. Please update your information. I do love your app and recommend it to others so I want to ensure you have the most up to date information.
