Horrible
This app is awful. Glitches…freezes…won’t let you go back to the main page after confirming bill payment. After 50 years of being a client…I am seriously reconsidering banking through an app from elsewhere. The world wants us to use online banking? Then it better get itself figured out. The old app? Awesome…My 80 year old mother could use it. This one? I’m over once a week to help her out and pay her bills. Another long time TCU customer…not satisfied. There are enough low star ratings here…I encourage TCU to get it fixed.

Glitchy and terrible
The new version (April 2022) is a nightmare. I have to keep deleting and re-installing.
App is worse now
This app is complete garbage. It does not let you sign in using Face ID, is not user friendly and the interface is not intuitive AT ALL.
I used to do all my banking from the mobile app, but simply can’t now because of how terrible this app is - I use the desktop version, which somehow is slightly better.

Terrible app
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Constant glitches (if you can even get it to open). Extremely inconvenient. I’m honestly considering switching financial institutions because of how bad it is. The old app was much more reliable, this one is so awful and damages TCU’s credibility and competitiveness.

Since update, pure garbage
Tcu decided to update their app not too long ago. Now the app is slow, sometimes will not even let you log in and I have had to reinstall 2 times. Might be a decent credit union but their choice in technology is rubbish. Update May 3/22: The app is still a steaming pile of garbage. Takes forever to log in, if it lets you. If you get stuck waiting with the circle of death you might as well uninstall and reinstall the app because you will never get out of it. So close to leaving TCU for this app.

Stick to browser banking
You’re going to have to delete this app every week or two as it will stop loading and just have you stare at the spinning circle. Not only is all your banking history gone since the new update you’ll save yourself time if you just do everything on the browser.

Worst App and Bank
This app is complete trash, I phoned the bank support line and they do not seem all that concerned about having it fixed. I asked why should stay a client if I can’t even access MY money? And they support person had no response. They care little about their clients at TCU Financial Group
The app won’t work
I’m legitimately switching my credit union. This app wouldn’t load all weekend while I was out of province and the website would not accept my e-transfer. Now that there’s no banking by phone, I couldn’t even check my balance without phoning a teller. My e-transfer contacts were all deleted when I switched apps, and the people they have working their digital banking help centre just tell you to clear your cookies and shrug their shoulders. It’s been a nice 35 years, TCU, but Affinity here I come.

Worst app ever
Mine hasn’t worked right since I was forced to get it. That’s right not by choice. I preferred the old version because it actually let me see what was going on! I have to try and cancel it and reload it as it’s been frozen for days.
Super frustrating when you can’t deposit a Check or accept an etransfer.
