Trig Function not correct

Used this to build a bracket and discovered Sin45 is not equal to Cos45 according to this calculator. Fortunately I cut it too long not too short! Pretty basic function for a calculator to get wrong!

Response from developer

Hello, this issue stems from a misunderstanding of the calculator’s settings, which support both radians and degrees. As I explained via email, cos(45°) equals 0.7071, but if the calculator is set to radians, the result will differ. If you’re still experiencing issues, feel free to contact me at contact@snopia.net. The solution is readily available. Benjamin

A Pleasure To Use

If there was a prize for most elegant iphone calculator, this would definitely win. No bloat, but all the features you could want, and naturally organized. The UI is such a simple and thoroughly designed implementation of a touch-screen calculator, not just a phone version of an HP. I never have to squint or hunt for a function. Everything is as intuitive as it could be.

Settimng the size of the calculator on acreen

When this app opens, it takes up far too much of the screen.

This means you have to continually re-size it every time you open it!

It needs a a way to pre-set the size.

A great drawback to what is a useful calculator.

Website and support can't be reached which doesn't help.

Works but still has problemsorks but still has problems

Functions properly as an RPN calculator that puts an expression under the x register which summarizes the operations. Nice touch but that's pretty much where it ends. On computer screen the calculator opens with ridiculously wide buttons in a window that takes up a third of the screen. Sure it can be resized but next time it opens at maximum size again. Setting includes option to specify number of decimal places from 15 to 4. It would be nice if this could be set to 2 for financial calculations, although it's an academic argument since this setting doesn't change anything.

Enfin !

Enfin une calculatrice avec du contenu en français.
Merci de penser que l’on peut avoir des calculatrices qui gère aussi le français dans les paramètres. Également de bonne idée pour la gestion de la pile. Bravo.

incorrect results

why do 24!, 30!, and 52! all give the same result

No ‘=‘ sign…..

Wow

Response from developer

Hi, this is not a traditional calculator. It uses RPN, witch means that you have to first enter your numbers in the stack and then perform your operation. There is no need for the equal sign. If you want to calculate 1 + 2, you have to type in this order: 1 ENTER 2 + This mode is used a lot in engineering and economy to perform large calculus faster. There are a lot of tutorial on the web about RPN. Benjamin

Perfect RPN Calculator App

This is the best RPN calculator app I’ve ever used. The layout is clean, intuitive, and the buttons are clear and concise. The calculation steps/history immediately tells me if I’ve accidentally fat finger any keys while the “always on” feature (the phone stays on while the app is up) is a brilliant touch. This avoids the constant nuisance of logging into my phone every two minutes while I’m doing calculations.

I use this handy piece of software nearly every day for work and home and it’s simply fantastic. My only wish is that it did unit conversions but it’s such a small gripe that it really should be a footnote because the rest of the app is that great. If you know how to use RPN, you won’t regret getting this calculator.

Fairly good but neglected

This RPN calculator is fairly good but it's missing some important features such as STO and RCL. It could also really use a stay-on-top feature.

I've communicated these to the developer but he doesn't seem interested in doing anything.
