I use this app several times a week. Any time I need to scale up or down a video, this is the perfect tool for that. When you put videos into word press like from Vimeo or YouTube, sometimes the <div> forces a different size of video than you intended causing black bars to be either on the sides or top and bottom of the video. By using this aspect ratio calculator, you then can resize the video easily without guessing what the final result will look like. This is a simple but straight forward tool that has made this process easy and effortless.

x2y solves a specific problem (aspect ratio calculations) really well. It's obvious this app was put together with a great deal of care; and the end result is a tool that both helps you work faster, but also a tool that's a pleasure to use. The iPad version uses an asymmetrical layout that has accommodation for both left-handed and right-handed users.
