Sometimes helpful but not 100% reliable
At first I thought this was the answer to my long time wish to track the mta bus lines. But I have noticed not all busses are outfitted for GPS. Or if they are, it must be turned off. Many times a bus is mislabeled (tagged) or it doesn't appear on the app at all.Pestonyc
Really Useful
This is a perfect app for a student like me because it shows me exactly where the bus is visually unlike MTA Bus Time, which gives the information in just words, which make it difficult to visualize.EnderChad

Refresh?
If there is a "Refresh" button, why doesn't it work almost ALL THE TIME!?! I click refresh and nothing happens. Everything stays the same. Unlike the MTA Bus Time site, it actually works. But this crap doesn't. Fix Please!!!!Anthony890

The name of this app says it all
If you want to ride the normal bus and only feel like you *think* the bus is coming, that's cool. But if you have places to be and you'd rather just know, so you can get on with life, get yourself some Bus Bus NYC.dnklatt
Best NYC bus time app (but it crashes)
I'm a New Yorker. I love this app. I've been using it since bus time started. It shows you up to date tracking of buses better than the MTA site.
Lately it's been crashing a lot. I've looked for an app that would be just as good or even a little bit less but they all are much worse. This app shows you where the busses are at so you can use your own judgement on if you can catch it or not.
I will upgrade to the paid app to see if the crashing. I'll let you know..

Super nice
Very nice app, is a little slow but is a great start , went you click on the route you actually watching it tells you the time it was at that location , so I kind of know most likely were the bus should be.... Super nice Thank You MTAR32lover0
Very Cool
What’s really great is that the MTA is instituting realtime bus information. The fact that my humble local route the Q54 is now included is a pleasant surprise. This app is a fine implementation of the service. There’s lot of information on bus routes, you can filter routes and the information is well organized. At least for a while people are going to open the app just to watch the buses move in more-or-less realtime.
