Ovia App
Excellent app
I really like Ovia.
I got rid of the app after I felt like I paying money for Flo and it wasn’t enough in depth information to actually track how confusing my cycle can be. I got this app after seeing it on a Pinterest type app and downloaded it. I love how much information it allows you to put in for your cycle tracking. Most apps will give you mood, and normal symptoms. This app has mood, every symptom you can think grouped into parts of your body (head, gastrointestinal, etc.) it also lets you put in your sex drive and if you were active, what your period was like, water and food intake, blood pressure, and what medications you’re on. This app is not the most aesthetically pleasing as some of the other ones but it’s so much better in doing what it’s supposed to do. The only thing I ask is that they allow more forms of birth control methods to be put in. It allows you to put in if you’re using a birth control method to help with tracking your cycle, but it only has the pill and the iud. I am on the ring which has become increasingly popular. It also doesn’t have the shot or injection. This is my only con for this app however and I recommend it for anyone who wants to have all of the information to look back at either for themselves or to give to their doctor.

This app really can't figure it out
I've had this app for 19 months now. I got it for the purpose of keeping track of my periods. They're predictions of when my cycle will start and end are more than a week off, every time, even though my periods are normal with the appropriate amount of time apart. I don't understand how you can have someone's cycle history for the past 19 months and still be so far off. I'd recommend another tracking app.

If your periods are irregular this app is worthless
I used to love this app, before my last pregnancy when my periods were regular. I loved their pregnancy apps and I've used Ovia for period and pregnancy for years... ever since MyCycles quit being updated and was removed from the App Store. So a long time lol. When my periods were regular, this app seemed like the best thing ever, but since having my last baby, my periods have been absolutely crazy and not regular at all, and this app does something unforgivable in my opinion.
It will record and mark down in it, periods you never had based on its predictions. It used to mark them but it didn't put the little "recorded data" mark, which made it annoying but still possible to see if you had imputed the period or if it had bc it thought you forgot, but now even the ones it puts in are labeled "recorded" so when I go back and try to figure out when the last one I had was, it is very hard to find. I've pulled this app up at the dr more than once now trying to tell them the last time I had a period and I give them the wrong dates while I try to figure it out. App is now useless

Best fertility/cycle app
I’ve been using this app since 2015 and it’s hands-down the best on the App Store. Thank you, Ovia for keeping a minimalist and un-cluttered user interface, and not adding a bunch of useless features. Amazing app!
Five star
This app has been so helpful keeping track of my ovulation and last period. I’m trying to conceive and it’s so helpful. Love it highly recommend
Comprehensive, but emotional whiplash
I’m TTC and while I appreciate having an app that lets me log specific moods, symptoms, nutrition, etc so I can look for patterns pointing to fertility, I wish it just let me log things and presented data/patterns. That’s it. That’s all that’s necessary.
The comments suggesting pregnancy, while well-intended, give a false sense of hope. For example, if I log symptoms A, B, and C, and the app says something like “This is a common sign of pregnancy!” that’s great! But when I log symptoms D and E later in the day, and the comment on the exact same entry as earlier now suggests an upcoming period/missed pregnancy, that is BEYOND discouraging. I know you’re just trying to help, Ovia! But sometimes it’s better to just have objective data without pointing toward one outcome or the other.
That said, I’m sure the encouragement is helpful for others. Maybe in future releases, you can let users choose the degree of symptom commentary they’d like? That would make the app experience nearly perfect! Thanks for your time.

Lost all info
I opened the app -I’ve been using it for awhile- and it said session expired. All my info gone. Awful.
Good app
So far, I’m liking this app. Would be great if it had suggestions of exercises to do when in certain phases.
Doesn’t integrate with other apps anymore
The docs for this app are outdated on their website. There is no longer an option to integrate with Apple Health, and I was unable to code a shortcut for logging data to the Ovia app. I won’t be using this app because it doesn’t allow for Apple Health to share my basal temp as its just too many steps to open this app to log my data. If the developer would add either functionality I’d change my review for sure.
