Few recognized items, confusing to add an item to the list

Hopefully the list of recognized items will expand.
I added Bath and Body Works exfoliating hand soap (non-foaming) to the apps list. Based on the ingredients list, the product does not contain plastic microbeads. The 'microspheres' visible in the product are wax based.
When adding a product, I couldn't type in the name, which seems odd, so I wonder if people will have to squint at a photo that I took of the products front packaging to decipher what it is... Also there's a toggle button to say if the product did contain plastics in the ingredients list, but it's not written if the toggle button being active means yes or no.

Suggestions:
-Add a way to input product brand and name.
-Have a 'yes' or 'no' caption beside the toggle button for the question 'Does this product contain microbeads?'
-Maybe it could be set up in the following manner: "Does this product contain visible beads?
Yes/No"
Followed by:
"Are the beads made of plastic?
*in smaller font 'Does the product contain the following ingredients:...'*
Yes/No"
This way your product description, (once it is added to the list,) could say 'This product contains visible beads which are NOT made of plastic'

Wish it worked

I want an app that names the products with microbeads, tells me what products to avoid and lets me know what products are the best to purchase. OK the danger would be that companies would buy the ban the micro bead movement and use it to further contaminate the water on the planet…but how else will we know what to do?
This app does none of the above. Even the scanner no longer works. (not that it worked before, but at least you got the impression of scanning). Educate me. What is the point of this app?

Great

Great

Excellent concept, poor execution

In theory this app is great, however a lot of products I have scanned that do contain micro beads or other forms of plastic come up as 'unknown'. Therefore fairly useless at informing and educating people at this point.

Very disappointing app

Have scanned items multiple times and all are still "unknown". Have also tried to register 2 items and did not register but it said that it did. How can you make a safer, cleaner, healthier environment for our Earth when the app that wants to help is absolutely useless?

Microbe beads????

The registering doesn't work for any of my products, it saids add but I'm not sure if it has microbeads so how can I check??? Please fix this!

Nothing

There is hardly anything listed

All scan comes back as product unknown??

Scanned couple of products with micro beads, all returned 'product unknown'. Nice design, but useless.

Nothing registers

January 2016 and not one product in my home is on the register. How long before Australians know if we are safe?

Needs more information

I scanned one product I wasn't sure about and it didn't have the info. I tried to add the info and then it asks me if this product contains microbeads...πŸ˜‘ Um...I don't know that's why I got the app!!! The second product I knew had microbeads, a fairly common Neutrogena scrub, still no data. One star, sorry. Would be a great app though!!
