  • Not As Expected

I thought this app was a call blocker. I was wrong
  • Ability to desperate work and life.

Excellent app, I can now leave work and feel free from constant contact from my coworkers.
  • Great app!

    Blocking telemarketers is bliss!
  • Controls calls

Call bliss makes Do Not Disturb much more powerful and convenient. Helps me eliminate unwanted calls👌🏽
  • Works great

Only way to control your Do Not Disturb list by location, and makes it much easier to use, with groups, and two modes to block everyone or only block specific contacts. Been using it for years, no problems.
  • Block texts when in use

This app essentially builds upon the Do Not Disturb feature of the IPHONE, making it more functional. My purchases of the app was to maintain a “White List” of all of my contacts in order to silence all of the unwanted calls that have become increasingly frequent. The problem for me was that the app also silences incoming texts from ALL parties, including those on my “White List”. I contacted support and they confirmed that since you must activate the Do Not Disturb feature on the phone, there is no way to hear when texts are received when the app is in use. Therefore, the app was of no use to me and I deactivated it. If you need to hear a tone signaling that you have received a new text, then you do not want to spend $10 on this app.

  • Does what Do Not Disturb already does

Call Bliss gives you two options for handling unwanted calls: Allow or Exclude. Allow requires you go thru your contacts individually to allow their calls to ring thru while all others are denied. Exclude requires you to manually key in excluded numbers which lets all other numbers thru. The problem is Allow blocks ALL texts, including those from your Allowed contacts. Not good if you text a lot. Exclude doesn't have a simple way to add a number to the list like iPhone Block does. My problem was stopping calls from "Unknown". Then it dawned on me to create a contact named "Unknown", leave the contact info blank, and save it as a blocked contact in ios8. Voila.

  • call bliss is awful!!

This application stinks!! It was bought with the intention of being able to block "No Caller ID" phone calls. It does not such thing!! I have looked high and low for directions on how to do this and a variation of this application does this with Nuance - but not this application itself. I spent $ on this to protect myself and all for nothing. I tried some of the other features about using the do not disturb with the callers in my contact list and this doesnt even work correctly. If it does work - then the directions I found on how to setup are just as bad - I want my money back!!! What a waste of time, money and effort!!!!

  • Too Complicated, needs update

This is just the kind of functionality that should be included in the Do Not Disturb function as a default. However, getting it installed and working properly takes quite a bit of work...a little too much.

If you are very comfortable with all the details of several different app's settings then you could probably get this to work for you, but the normal user would quickly get lost. This is especially so because all of the instructions are for older versions of iOS. All the instructions and arrows do not correspond and just confuse matters further.

In-app purchases are sooo annoying...and only 2 days to try it out!?! How can I try it out if I install on Friday and the place/function won't be visited till Monday? Just charge 4.99 for your app and stop badgering me with all the things it COULD do....just do it.

Please update this app with current instructions and automate all those setup steps. Then I will gladly purchase the app.

But hurry....the Do Not Disturb functionality will probably be updated to do this all by default.
