This app is perfect for getting rid of those annoying telemarketer calls. I was at the end of my rope with those calls. Some of them would call me six-seven times a day even after I requested that they remove me from their call list. So I went searching for a answer and found bliss call. The calls stopped immediately. Ut Oh "Houston We Have a Problem"
I purchased this software for $4.99 a few months ago, and really liked it. Recently, I had to uninstall it and reinstall it on my iPhone 5. After the reinstall the app asked for my email address to enable the original features but then…….Yeah…. it did not recognize my email address with my app.
I emailed the creator, giving them the date of purchase, invoice #, and order #, and my problem…..1st the email kept bouncing back,……2nd attempts has received no responses back from the creator.
Yeah, this is a real problem. Until this is fixed, I would not recommend this app to anyone.Show lessdexoticaqua

Recently for the first time since i can remember i've started getting not only marketing calls but a call from someone who just refuses to understand that they have the wrong number. It gets really annoying. This app i've been able to set up and it sends those calls I don't want straight to voice mail, and I simply LOVE the geotag setup where you can pick and choose who can call you based on locations! I have always had an issue with unwanted calls from people dialing the wrong number. Call Bliss has put an end to that. I can have it running in the background and only those people whose calls I would welcome can get through. I don't even have to be distracted by denying unwanted calls at work. Finally, a blacklist/call block app that works!
Takes Do Not Disturb to new levels. I highly recommend this app. Just get it and follow the directions. This helped me a lot!
It doesn't actually BLOCK the number...YET, but it does a great job of avoiding unwanted callers with no phone ringing, no vibrate etc. NOTHING when the phone is locked. Personally, along with call bliss' "blacklist" feature, I just kept the phone on "silent" and kept the "vibrate when phone is on silent" button OFF to avoid hearing and feeling (vibrate) the call when the phone was unlocked. All youll see is the phone number, just "Decline". Other than that, I heard and saw nothing at all, no alerts, lighting up etc,while phone was locked.
The other apps "like this one" all seem bogus. Low ratings etc. couldn't find a good "blacklist" app until I got this one. Does a GREAT job of avoiding unwanted callers, just be sure to get the "Blacklist" option.

Great app, but slightly flawed
This is fantastic when you set it up correctly. Blacklist mode is great; simply create a contact called 'Blacklist' and every time you get an unwanted call you can add that number to the blacklist contact. This has saved me a lot of frustration with spam calls.
On the other hand, texts from people I'd like to have come through don't. For example, when DND is turned on, even though my wife's number is not on the blacklist, any of her texts to me do not come through.

I've tried others but I like this app a lot. If a person is blocked, it just goes to voice mail, or an email, or text w/o any sounds so I do not know unless I look. Also, other apps will just pick up & hang up on them & I can't be that rude no matter who they are. I know a lot of people & even if you have a notice that you're on vacation, they don't care and still call or email or text. They apparently think I like them more than I really do. This app lets me have time for myself when I need it and when I'm sleeping with no interruptions. Only my "VIP's" can get through. Perfect!Show lessSavageSaint'sGirl
Why all the fuss???
This app does exactly what it says it will. It allows texts thru but they are silenced which is why only 4 stars (not sure about emails) its simple: create a contact called blacklist (or whatever) go to your recent calls list, switch it to missed calls only and add every number to that contact then simply do not check that contact in your allowed thru list.
Suggested improvement: add a "check all" button to the list as most people only want to block a few people or even just one. It would be easer to "uncheck" those people rather than checking every contact and leaving a few "unchecked"Show lessDoc Layne

Iphone 4s IOS 6.0.1
600 contacts
Asks for permission to access contacts and location and crashes right after.
Then proceeds to crash on opening every time after.
Will stay open and can navigate through app if privacy /contacts /callbliss is disabled.
Which makes the program useless still since it cannot access the contacts to assign.
Works great on my wife's iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1. Exactly the same contacts as on my iPhone 4s.
Dev responded right away to my complaint and is working with me and the logs generated by the app to find solution.Show lessNokto

For a very long time I have struggling with my "do not disturb"/silent settings. I seriously hate when I am working or sleeping and I get unwanted calls or texts. However. I can't put my phone on the do not disturb setting because there is a small group if people I want to always be able to get through. The Call Bliss app solves these issues for me. Since I get a lot of you wanted calls, Call Bliss gives me the opportunity to block those calls but still allows me to get the important calls I need from family and co-workers.
