If you're thinking about trying this game read this.
So about 7 months ago I went looking for an app to play on my new iPad that would be fun and take up a bit of time. I knew I liked medieval stuff and MMO's so I gave this a try.
While I will admit it isn't visually pleasing with combat and fighting scenes, I really enjoy playing it as a long term game that remains enjoyable day after day.
I looked for other games that had some of the same aspects as this one but haven't been able to find a better game on the iPad yet!
With this game slow and steady win the race. You will find yourself playing 1 or more times a day every day. You don't need to spend money if you don't want to which is a plus! If you're downloading now for the first time I recommend joining an alliance that is in your castle area to help you out. It's a teamwork game. If you roll solo you will get eaten! Great Game, Terrible Update
This is by far my favorite game to play on the iPad. I love the teamwork, the strategy, and the people I meet along the way.
However, this latest update is very bad visually. It is much harder to read form posts, harder to determine building upgrades, and the colors are darker. I am not a fan of the new look whatsoever. Please give us an option to go back to the original look and feel.Show lessDrMCA

Great strategy. Mature environment. Met some respectable players. Love playing on multiple devices. Of course the graphics could be improved and would love to see the server checks move a bit smoother, but this is a free game. A month in and I haven't payed a dime, but play it daily. Great!j051499
