The official iPhone App for Mantax Taxis in Manchester. Enables registered users to book HIGH PRIORITY TAXIS direct through Mantax’s dispatch system. iHAIL FUNCTION - uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to determine your pickup point. Fine-tune your pick-up point further using the iPhone’s on-screen map. LIVE TRACKING – shows you how far away your taxi is. FARE ESTIMATES – available when placing order. BOOKING HISTORY and FAVOURITE LOCATIONS The Mantax iPhone App also works in conjunction with the Mantax Web Booker database. If you are already an existing Mantax Web Booker customer there is no need to re-register. Linked to your Web Booker account the iPhone App gives you access to your booking history & favourite locations from your Web Booker account.

    Made me miss three trains on three separate days, never using again. Unreliable.

  • Still a poor app

    App is too reliant on the location services feature, and doesn't allow the user to search for an exact address, only a postcode, which is imprecise. Phone line now non-responsive, so will have to look elsewhere for taxi services. Disappointing.

  • Don’t use the app

    Don’t use the app - I booked in advance and it confirms it’s booked and then at the time you’ve booked the app says it’s searching for a taxi. Rang up for them to tell me they have no taxis in the area!
