Edit: This has been resolved! It was a feature all along. It’s in settings, in the wallet section - you can star which method you prefer. Thank you so much for letting me know!
Please please please let us put our settings to whether we want to pay before or in the taxi! I never have cash on me so I rely on pre-paying before the taxi but I have to click this option every time. Would save so much time and hassle if this was automatically applied every time.

Hi Phoebe, You can do this in your settings, click on the three lines in the top left, select my wallet, add a payment method, and then swipe right on the payment method to save it as your preferred. This will now automatically add this payment method every time you make a booking.
Will Reconsider Using the Service if App Improves
So far, 3 out of 4 drivers have been really good, but I had an issue with one driver. The rating function in the app doesn't work, so I couldn't rate either the good or the bad driver. Additionally, there's no comment section within the rating feature, which means there's no way to provide feedback on the drivers' performance. Another problem is with the payment system. Apple Pay doesn't work, and when I added my credit card and tried to prebook, it attempted to charge £20 instead of the predicted cost of £13. This discrepancy made me distrust the credit card payment process. There's also no FAQ section, so I'm unsure if they initially overcharge and then issue a refund. The app should include more detailed information. While Argyle offers better prices than Uber, which is why I chose it, I will think twice before using it again.
