  • Needs full screen support

App needs full screen support for iPhone X and iPads.
  • Works as described but there is a learning curve.

I bought this at MACNA 2018 and it definitely has made my life easier. There is a learning curve but once you master it it’s easy to get your aquarium water tested. One thing I would suggest is better interface/integration between devices. If I test and input data in my iPad my iPhone won’t show that history. I don’t know if anyone else had had this problem though.

  • The best!

Wish I had found them years ago! And way more accurate (and cheaper) than Trident!
  • Exact iDip 570 Marine

Hands down the best, quickest and most accurate tester I have used for my salt water tanks. Having all my test strips in one small box keeps everything organized and the digital calculations makes life much easier than trying to compare liquids to color charts. FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS TEST ANY OTHER WAY!! Lol.

  • Great Product and App!

I’ve been using this pool water tester/app combination to test my pool water as well as the pool water of other family members and friends pools for just over 2 years now and am very happy with its performance. I’ve even used it to test drinking water from various sources. It’s easy to use, accurate, and the ability to save and share results via the app is very convenient. It can test for more parameters than I will ever need, but its nice to know those options are available.

I am a skeptical consumer so in order to ensure accuracy I compared the test results from the iDip with the test results from various local pool stores (of course using the same water samples), and the iDip was in fact accurate. What I did discover however is that the expiration dates on the test strip container must be strictly adhered to. For the most accurate results ensure that the test strips you are using are not expired. Very important! And use new batteries.

As far as the company “Industrial Test Systems” is concerned, they are a pleasure to deal with and stand behind their product(s). I’ve been dealing with them since about 2013 and their customer service is, in a word, outstanding. Over the yearsI I’ve personally dealt with George Baily, Robin Locklair, and currently Jesse Riggin. They all take pride in their products and do their very best to address any issue or concern. I highly recommend this product.

  • Scam

I’ve tried the tests multiple times and rewatched the tutorials and read the manual, but all I get is “HI ppm”. Also, the app is hella glitchy
  • Very Reliable, Consistent Results

I’ve been using the iDip for over 3 years. Very happy with the product. The app works exactly as advertised. Customer service is excellent. I had a question about whether the meter was working 100% accurately so I brought it back to the National Homebrewers Conference the next year. They took it back, tested it, confirmed it was functioning perfectly, and shipped it back for free. Turns out it was due to the fact that I have super alkaline water so they threw in some conditioner strips so that now all my results are 100% accurate.

  • I use the iDip every day

I use the iDip everyday in my job as an aquarium service provider. This device eliminates the guess work from titration tests. The tests are easy to run and consistent. Most tests I run are done in a total of thirty seconds, from start to results. What’s great is that, if the test needs to run a min or two (Po4 takes 120 sec to run), it saves all data. With other “checkers,” if you’re not there when the test ends, the data is lost. Not so with the iDip. Even if I’m off cleaning something for a bit and, after the test runs, the device and my phone auto turns off, the data is still there. It also adds a time and gps stamp to the results. The ability to see all the past and present results allow you to see trends before they become problems.
Once you buy only the tests that you need, through the app (this is a multi-industry tool so they have dozens of test), the refills of reagent strips are reasonably priced.

  • Great brewing tool

I’ve used the iDip for a couple of years now and it has served me well as a reliable measure of the current water mineralization. My water changes constantly as different bores are used so having this tool allows me the precision I need. Can’t recommend it enough.
  • Great app!

Real time saver and for those of us that are color blind this is a must. No more guesswork or asking someone to verify color strips. Wish this had came out sooner. But glad it’s here.
