Useless in the modern AUv3 world
I bought this on the assumption (so entirely my fault) that it would support AUv3, in the same way that iM1 does. It does not. More fool me. This was a complete waste of money.
It sounds great standalone, but I want to use it with other synths and effects and I’m not working with inter-app audio as it’s too unstable.Show lessJames Fry

Amazing sound synth, like all korg synths. It’s just no good without Auv3 (for me)Digimidgi
Doesn’t seem to connect to midi.
Probably ok in Gadget but not any good for anything else.Jemmy1955

Dear Jemmy1955、 Thank you for your message and sorry for the inconvenience. When using external midi devices, the iPolySix can be controlled in the following way: Each midi channel - from 1 to 8 - will control one track (Synth1, Synth2, Drum1 and so on). Therefore, please be sure that your midi device is configured to the correct midi channel in order to play the iPolySix. Come on Korg this is ridiculous!!!! It’s been how many years now? I deleted Gadget because this. Gadget was born on iOS yet you give the flexibility to desktop only. I never bought the desktop version because of your shady business dealings on iOS. I spent over $200 on your iOS products. To access gadgets on desktop, to put in your personal daw, is $200. Bringing back great memories
I had one of these in my youth and have missed it often. But wow, this app does it justice. Incredibly good sounding. The extra features (two instances, more effects, a sequencer, drums) are icing. My favourite soft synth purchase. All I need now are faux wood side panels for my iPad.Paul McGurk
One of the few.....
I use this with mSequencer and can get full control over all 8 instruments - better than m1 for sequencing for sure. 8 tracks with seven tracks of automation. Or automate the mixer and let Polysix do the sequencing. 😀

Don’t buy this app. MIDI implementation sucks.
I own every Korg app and tons of their kit. Love their stuff.
Some of their apps need some basic functionality added. This ones midi implementation means I will rarely use it. It cannot be leveraged to make music easily. There are better apps. Save your money.Afourtrackmind
