  • Does not work

The only feature that works is the strobe feature. Could have saved myself 5 bucks instead of spending it on this. Shame
  • Overall solid

Overall solid once it gets set up. Does a good job with what it offers
  • Still works for me

Been using this app off and on for years. Broke it out last night for a Halloween light display and worked just fine, so I’m not sure what issues others have been having. I am on the newest iOS
  • Warning: Resets all Hue Light Names and Rooms to default

The app scenes are great and provide good multicolour lighting effects BUT, and it’s a big but, it has completely wiped and reset all my hue light names and rooms and put them all in the same room as the hub. With over 25 lights it then takes a goood amount of time to re-identify which lights are which and re-create the names in the Home app plus re-setup all the automations. This has happened the last two occasions of using this app. As far as I can tell it shouldn’t have permissions to reset all hue light names and room locations in the home app.

Hi. We do not reset any names or rooms. Sounds like something else went wrong. Please send us a message through the feedback option in the app so we can help our.
  • Something changed that shouldn’t have

I used to enjoy this app but now it seems like it just turns most of the lights off and that’s it. Turning strobe mode on works - but I definitely don’t want them to only strobe. Something changed in the last year or so, either in this software or the API it’s using.

(It’s also possible that it’s having issues with the number of lights I have - my entire house is set up with Hue, about 50 lights, and while I don’t set them all to control by this app, it may still be a lot more than most people are using.)

Make sure you select 10-15 lights in sight for the best results. Also make sure to have the sensitivity sliders to the left to start with. If that don’t work. Delete and reinstall. The feedback option in the app works best if you have any other issues.
  • Alexa support (or skill) would be cool

As a stand-alone app it seems pretty cool but it would be even cooler if there was integration with Alexa so that the themes could be accessed similar to the Philips Hue themes. Ie: “Alexa, turn on Disco in den” and it runs the “Disco” theme you created. Of course if this functionality is there let me know as I can find nothing about it online.

  • Stopped working

Great little app, but for some reason it’s stopped working.

    Developer Response

Hi Please start to delete and reinstall from the app store. Also Please make sure you allow LAN access when on iOS14. You can check this in Settings | Privacy | Local Network. Make sure the app is allowed in there. When this doesn’t work, power cycle your bridge and try again. Hope that helps! Please report back.
  • Updated app yay!

Had a problem with iOS 14.2 but as per developers feedback removing the app and reinstalling fixed it. Glad to see the apps being kept up to date!

  • not bad

pretty sick ngl i hate the fact that i have to “tap beats” to make it faster i wanna be able to hold it how is this not an option?

    Developer Response

Hi. Use the + and - button to make fine adjustments. Just start tapping again to overwrite the current set beat. Hope that helps. If not, send a support message from within the app.
