Handy App

I run a small business from my studio flat and don’t have space to keep my printer/scanner out. I’ve got to send PDFs of a form when I do some of my jobs. This app is really handy. Using it means I don’t have to set up my printer constantly.

I do wish it was compatible with Apple Airdrop.

Hello, thank you for sharing this. Let me note that the Airdrop option is already supported in Scanner Pro. To share a scan via AirDrop, please follow these steps: Open Scanner Pro > Select a scan > Tap Export > Share > AirDrop. I also entirely agree that it would be very handy to add AirDrop to the Scanner Pro Share menu and I have already added your kind request to our Wish List for our product team to take into consideration for future updates. It works

I have tried using many different scanners. This is the best scan app I found that actually works and actually saves and helps you keep track of all your files to be scanned and sent. Easy to use easy to send files via email.
I don’t write reviews too many times, but this is actually a good app

Worse and worse

I’ve been using this app for several years now and paid for the upgrade to pro. However, I am less and less satisfied with its performance. For example, when scanning, the app constantly says “get closer”, even when the image to scan is filling the screen. Auto-capture only works in ideal conditions. Also, the edge detection is very poor. it’s almost impossible to scan white text on a dark background. The app doesn’t understand the concept of page size for an entire document which means that you have to repeatedly set the page size for each page and reset it again if you adjust the corners. That’s very annoying and time-consuming.

Have used this App for several years, I find it is magic for recording everything from medical records, store purchases and warranties, especially family history and photos that other family members have and do not wish trust loaning same - just snap them immediately into a PDF, so alleviates borrowing same. I will never change from using this specific App.
